Last year we stayed at the Acrothea Hotel in Parga, and had a fabulous time. We found that the same family also owned the Byzantio apartments by Valthos Beach (as well as the Acrothea, and Sakis Restaurant) and, guessing that standards here would be just as high, we booked 2 apartments so our 2 children (in their 20s) could join... Although we didn't stay at Byzantio we were allowed to use the facilities. The pool is fantastic and well maintained. We had lunch there everyday of our holiday, great salads and club sandwiches. The staff are always friendly and efficient. Thanks to Dimitri his family and Spiros.

Last time I was in Parga was 20 years ago, I'm now married to the girl I went with and we have 3 children ages 8,3 and 5 months, so to say we have particular needs is not an understatement. The Tsvoli family from the moment we arrived at Byzantio made us feel welcome, to the extent of finding us... More

The family who run this set of apartments deserve all the praise they receive. They are so welcoming and allow guests to really relax. The rooms are spotless and the maid service is friendly and of a high quality. Take the time to look elsewhere and then book a stay at the Byzantio, or just save time by booking at... More

Four of us (two couples) holidayed in Parga/Valtos Beach this summer. Although we didn't actually stay at Byzantio, my Mum and Dad were staying there (I have also stayed there previous years) and the family were more than happy for us to use the facilities - one evening they even gave me a lift into Parga to the doctors. The... More

This was our third family holiday in Parga but our first at the Byzantio Hotel. From the moment we booked our accommodation the Tsovilos family couldn't do enough to ensure our stay was memorable. The Byzantio is a 'real' family run hotel - nothing was too much trouble - we were made to feel very welcome. The position of the... More

We've just had our 4th stay at Byzantio, as always it was just perfect. Sakis, Maria and the whole family and staff made us feel so welcome, and as always we had 5* service. Everywhere is spotless and clean, the rooms, the bar and pool area, even the gardens behave! The food is really good. A wonderful place to totally... More

We have been staying here for many years and it is an ideal location for people who enjoy the beach, with an option for peace and quiet in the evenings or a quick trip by water taxi into Parga. The poolside bar is ideal for ice cold lager and a lovely lunch. The pool is a big plus if you... More

Just arrived back after 2 weeks staying in a studio rm. My husband & i travelled with Cosmos & everything went well, got a transfer coach from preveza airport, then a quick change to a mini bus to get into Parga & Valtos because of the narrow streets. Lovely welcome by Spyros, who showed us to the room. Beautifully clean... More

Parga is a very friendly, welcoming destination with a variety of things to do. The Byzantio ticked all the boxes for us, when I booked we weren't sure about the location but on balance if you like sea and sand then it's easier to be in Valtos than in Parga, and Byzantio is just a very short walk away from...
