Taxiarchis has everything the traveller could wish for. Set in well-tended gardens, away from the main road, our apartment was quiet, comfortable and contained everything we needed, with an uninterrupted view of Pedi Bay. We had a little balcony and, at the back, a small courtyard, so we could 'follow the sun' through the day, if we wished. The accommodation was... More

The room was perfect, it had a nice view, clean, quiet and near the beach. It was cheap compared to others on the island. Breakfast was good, but the most important thing is that the stuff was the best! Always there, very polite, they picked us up from the port etc. To sum up, I would DEFINATELY stay there if... More

We stayed in the small studio, with a little kitchen , it was a lovely room cleaned everyday and the view was gorgeous. The family that own the hotel, apartments were very welcoming and friendly. Helping in anyway they could with directions and advice.I would happily stay here again, and the Island is beautiful too. Though after a few spells... More

The apartment is situated in the Chorio area of Symi A wonderful spot Fabulous views of the hills and Pedi beach The domestic staff were in most days cleaning Towels and sheets were changed regularly Theres a bit of noise during the night thanks to the goats, donkey, chickens, and occasional bells tolling which could get a little annoying but... Travelling charter (Vingreiser), this was a lucky choice, located in the Chorio/Village (where we like to stay when on Symi) on the Pedi side of the windmill crest. We had ordered an upgrade room, and got separate bedroom and a fantastic terrasse with beautiful view over Pedi to Turkey. Our two couples of friends also got nice rooms, with the... More

We were picked up from our ferry by Frank, the owner, which was not expected. It was very welcome because it the accommodation would have been very difficult to find. The apartments are located in the local village which is served by a regular yellow bus or by climbing 360 steps up to the village. Our room was a good... More

just got back from a 1 week holiday with Olympic. we chose Taxiarchis from the last minute deals on offer and were very pleasantly surprised by the property. Beautiful garden with a fantastic view over Pedi valley to the beach. Very quiet at night and the early morning sounds were very rustic - roosters, donkeys, birds and dogs. Our groundfloor... More

Just back from a far too quick week at this fantastic property. Friendly and helpful owners, Frank and Eva couldn't do enough for us. The apartment was perfect- great views overlooking Pedi beach. Perfect location in the middle of the village with pedi beach and the harbour easily accessible although definitely not any good for anyone with walking difficulties as... More

We had a lovely one bed room apartment at Taxiarchis. Very peaceful and very quiet. The balcony gave us beautiful views of Pedi. The apartments are of a high standard and the gardens well tended and far better than the usual Greek gardens. Restaurants, bars, supermarkets and bus stop are close but it's not really suitable if you don't like... More

Spacious rooms with mosquito screens and double glazing which keeps out the noise of the donkeys, goats, and cockerels. Air-con is expensive at €7 per night. The apartments are in a very quiet area but close to the village's few bars and restaurants. Closest bar is Ringo's next to the supermarket then a few minutes walk to The Sunrise Cafe... More
