Spent a week early May on Symi staying at the Nireus. The location is just perfect, a few minutes from the tavernas and shops around the harbour in one direction and NOS beach five minutes away in the other direction. Great location, If you book this hotel try a get a sea view, we booked 8 months in advance but could only get a Island view. This hotel has a great view of all manner of boats coming and going from the harbour. A view to take the stress of life instantly away. The reception staff went out of their way to be helpful. Relaxing, quiet, good food, excellent wine (greek which before I'd struggled with). Then it happened..... Greece won the European cup WOW. Dinamite in the harbour. Free beer every where.
