My wife and I have just returned from a two week sat at the Aquamare. The hotel is located in the perfect spot between the town and the beach. The nearest beach is just a couple of minutes walk away, perfect for an early morning swim. The town or Rhodes is on the doorstep and the old town is within... More

Worst hotel experience ever--filthy, small rooms complete with bed-bugs. The lobby was renovated, but the moment you step off the elevator you quickly realize you have been deceived. The hallways are dark, dingy, with filthy, stained, sticky orange carpet that has never been cleaned, and dirty smeared walls--on all floors. Old mattresses and junky furniture are leaning against the walls.... More

katerina1414 was on the mark - OK reception and public areas, but absolutely filthy halls and rooms, and they tried to keep our passports too. When we complained about our standard room (which was $160 Euros per NIGHT), they acted like they were doing us a favor to upgrade to a "superior" room, which barely had room for two twin... More

Booked this hotel privately. Good location less than 15 minutes gentle walk to main bus station and restaurants in abundance all around. In fact spoilt for choice on eateries.Good size rooms with air con, small kitchenette with cooker plus cups etc and electric kettle. Really good choice for breakfast including cooked items as well as fruits etc, couldn't fault it with... More

The staff were really friendly and helpful, gave great advise on excursions and activities to do. Pool area was nice even if a little small but with Elli Beach only a 2 min walk this did not matter.Good variety of food at breakfast and good value for money. Location was excellent, good restaurants and well equipped shops next door. Reasonable... More

Total disaster, thank God we only stayed just one night. the hotel is renovated but only at the reception and the restaurant areas. rooms are small and dirty. Do not be fooled by the photos on their website. During check in the man in charge at the reception desk insisted on keeping our travel documents until check out. he was... More

Marie Rhodes is good hotel with very friendly personnel. He's not new and shiny, but not expensive. Normal rooms, good breakfast (coffee machine is there, and to have a good coffee in the morning is most important for me :). Very good location - close to the Mediterranean and the Sea to the Aegean Sea. The hotel is a shop... More

Nothing luxurious, rooms were quite dated and old. Bathroom really really small, had to stand in a miniature tub while showering. Fridge was big and ac worked nicely (you have to pay for it separately, about 50 euros per week), rooms were tidy. Balcony was nice, had only small glass walls to separate them from one another, but it was... More

Compact and comfortable, not for kids, pool too deep and chilly, even when temp was 37c! Enjoyed the hospitality though and would return, handy for town and bars, near to train too.good views over the town, noisy at night with traffic but only if door is open in room, air con extra but worth it.good gym and storage if leaving... Me and my wife stayed in Hotel Marie (or Aquamare as it´s now called) for a week in october 2012. We had the superior room, which is actually smaller than the standard room, but recently renovated. If you compare this hotel to the usual standard of hotels in Greece and especially on Rhodes I think it stands out quite well!... More
