The Poseidon was great value for money for what we paid. It was not special but was very clean. Cleaners came round every day with fresh towels. Free air conditioning was a huge bonus. In the hotel rooms the bathroom was extremely small. Pretty small pool area with no beds in the sun all day long. But in August just... More

Room 401 is the best! Although it is up on the 3rd floor (56 big steps) it was well worth it. With no neighbours and a private roof terrace that can see the sea, it was the best room for a relaxing break. The staff are friendly and happy to help, as long as you make the effort to show... More

When we arrived at the hotel we were disappointed that our request for a ground or lower level apartment seemed to be ignored. Instead we were on the third floor which was not ideal to say the least! However when I asked about changing rooms hour later we were very lucky that a ground floor apartment was available the next... More

I don't know quite where to start, but do not take small children here! We stayed in room 320 in the apartment block and this was up approx 35 spiral marble steps with a 2 year old and a buggy! I do not know if we had a 'dud' apartment compared to others, as we picked his hotel last minute... More

Just come back from a weeks holiday at the Poseidon. The owners and staff make this hotel a real pleasure to stay in, they really went out of their way to make sure you had all you needed. We had an apartment which was clean and tidy and had a great view of the pool. Party night was great fun... More

Just returned from a 7 night holiday to the Poseidon. Had an absolutely fantastic time, extremely friendly hotel- the staff can't do enough for you and always make an effort to speak to you. We had an apartment room which is much larger than the standard hotel rooms. Rooms are basic but clean and the standard is on par with... More

Having used The Poseidon many times over the last 12 tears or so, it was quite a relief to return after a break of two years ( when we were unable to book due to both hotel and apartments being fully booked for our chosen dates ). The welcome was as warm as ever, Ange and Toula seemingly to remember... More

Several small restaurants nearby were very good and good value. Not too far to the beach or to the main town, we always walked. Rooms have air con. If I went... More

I stayed at this hotel in June 2014. Very good location, service very friendly and helpful, rooms clean. The only downside is monotonous breakfasts and wifi (did not work), however, at this price it is a very good hotel.
