We spend 5 days at this unique place in October. We stayed at G4 big suite at the first floor, where the view was superb. The atmosphere at the hotel was warm and tranquil exactly what we needed this time to relax . The room was clean and cozy. We had free fast wi fi, the drinks were excellent and... More

We had been wanting to visit Kastellorizo for many years because of the movie of the Italian occupation of the island during WW2. Finally we had the time to make the effort to get there. Accommodation choices here are limited to 2 hotels and a few rooms. The 2 hotels charge quite lot for what they offer, so there is... More

Kastellorizo is a beautiful island well worth visiting, however we were disappointed in this hotel. We found our hosts lacked warmth and appeared disengaged. They seemed quite unconcerned we'd spent a sleepless night having been bitten by Mosquitos and conveyed it was a problem we should just cope with. There was a mosquito net but it had holes and did... What a truly beautiful island. A very special place indeed and topped off by staying at the Hotel Kastellorizo. Yannis and Voula are warm and friendly and couldn't be more helpful. the room that we stayed in had a balcony overlooking the water which was a great spot for supping a G&T whilst waiting for glimpses of the old turtle... We booked this hotel on line after reading reviews and we were not disappointed. The owners are friendly and helpful, but not intrusive...lovely quiet time on the water's edge. Just what we wanted for a 3 night stay. There are a few good walks around the town area to occupy part of the day, leaving afternoon to relax and escape... More

I use this forum to read reviews for the hotels and I always start with the bad ones. It always gives me a good idea what the hotel is like. I did same here and I decided that this must be a serious hotel and not like others in Greece. I was not wrong. This is a beautiful hotel in... More

Our mistake was to only stay 3 days. I think a week would be much better as we had more walks and more restaurants to experience. The couple who run the hotel were very helpful and lent us a book about the island and interesting walks. It was good to have a washing machine after a couple of weeks travelling... More
