We booked the Hotel after a last moment search where many of the Hotels were full. It is an old mansion with nice atmosphere that was renovated, but that was many years ago. Someone would expect more work done to keep it in good shape, ie painting the rooms and windows once in a while or keeping the bed post... more

First, if you are looking at going to Syros, congratulations on getting past the crowd who have somehow missed it. Second, if you do go, stay at Omiros. Its a lovely nineteenth century mansion with big rooms (we stayed in one of the two suites, and it was wonderful), in a quiet part of town some ten minutes walk (uphill)... more
