Located on the top of a hill in a place which normally has very high winds. We could never use the beautiful pool becasue of the high winds which were described as "typical". This hotel is absolutely beautiful- views are unbelievable. The reception and staff are the best. Very personal service, excellent food. Rooms are simple, but exceptionally nice. You are near one of the older towns on the hilltop, so you are away for the hustle bustle of the larger towns. The pool is beautiful and balconies have wonderful views. more

It's a small island. Getting around, you may need a car/quad/bike but not for very long. The location of the hotel made it so easy to find from any part of the island and the views from the hotel were even better. The restaurant here is AMAZING. Though the hotel is not located in a bustling area of Santorini it is centrally located on the island.
