There were 4 of us traveling together. We met a solo traveler while at the hotel, and we all decided to eat dinner at the hotel one night. The waiter was the most obnoxious I have ever encountered. He insulted us all, and especially my one friend. At the end of the meal he said, "I'm sorry I spoke to... more

Located on the top of a hill in a place which normally has very high winds. We could never use the beautiful pool becasue of the high winds which were described as "typical". The grape vines are kept next to the ground in Santorini because of the normally high winds. The bus stop was a short hike, but the service... more

This hotel is absolutely beautiful- views are unbelievable. The reception and staff are the best. Very personal service, excellent food. Rooms are simple, but exceptionally nice. You are near one of the older towns on the hilltop, so you are away for the hustle bustle of the larger towns. The pool is beautiful and balconies have wonderful views. more

It's a small island. Getting around, you may need a car/quad/bike but not for very long. The location of the hotel made it so easy to find from any part of the island and the views from the hotel were even better. The restaurant here is AMAZING. The chef worked 34 years in Manhattan and returned to Greece 3 seasons... more

This hotel is centrally located on the island of Santorini at almost the highest point of the island as well. It has spectacular views of the entire island 360 degrees. From it's central location you can and will need to drive out to any of the larger towns. The accomodations are nice. The staff friendly. The free morning breakfast is... more

Though the hotel is not located in a bustling area of Santorini it is centrally located on the island. There is a bus stop 20 yards away and you can get anywhere on the island via taxi in 5 to ten minutes for 10 Euros or less. I would suggest renting a car, 4 wheeler or scooter. That can be... more

We stayed at the end of June as well when there was the problem with the a/c. Immediately when they realized - and this was the "same day" - the problem couldn't be solved, we all were offered either to move to another hotel (close to Fira, the capitol with all the bars, restaurants, etc.) and all the extra costs... more

Similar to some of the other reviews, the hotel is not centrally located, which makes it a chore to get to decent restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Most important to note is that the hotel did not have air conditioning the entire time we stayed there. At first they explained that it was just my unit, but as I checked with... more
