Overall, It was an outstanding experience. The hotel has a breathtaking view, and you can enjoy it from the swimming pool or when you are having breakfast. The owner is very dedicated to his customers and we really had a god time there. There is no room with a particular view, but it doesn't matter, since you have the bests... more

The only good thing about this hotel is the view. The bedrooms are dark and the bathrooms were very small and inadequate with dirty grouting and chipped tiles the shower was behind a mildewed curtain.Breakfast was very poor e.g. the fruit available was tinned Fruit Cocktail or dried up oranges, they even ran out of corn flakes and eggs. The... more

My husband and I just got back from our two week honeymoon to Greece. We stayed at the Artemis Studio for 3 nights. We highly recommend it for couples...especially those looking for a romantic getaway. The view is amazing, the staff is excellent and the town of Melagori, where the hotel is situated, is quiet and has a few restaurants,... more

Upon arrival they upgraded us to their top suite with private balcony overlooking the caldera because it was easier for them--we didn't complain! Room was clean, mattresses a little worn but fine. Kitchenette & TV included. Washroom was tiny and cramped with a shower thrown in as an afterthought, but typical of most traditional Greek hotels. View is spectacular. Some... more

We stayed at this hotel in August 2005. Pros: - Beautiful view of the caldera - Megalachori has a small town square which is incredibly quaint - The pool was nice. Cons: - From our room, we couldn't actually see the view without opening the door (no window on that side.) Our "balcony" was actually the walkway between the rooms... more

The hotel itself was quite nice and the location was great---rimside near the highly underrated town of Megalochori. However, when we arrived, they had no room for us. They casually mentioned that they had in fact overbooked for SIX rooms that night. This overbooking, they said, was what they always had to do in order to stay full. They offered... more

What can I stay - our stay here was just perfect! The owners were so friendly, the accomodation is so comfortable and absolutely spotless, but what's magical about this place is the view -your right on the cliffs edge watching the sunset go down, just amazing......... Loved this place so much just didnt want to leave. Will be back for... more

Artemis Studio has a really fantastic view of the caldera and is a great place to enjoy the famous santorini sunset. It's the perfect place to lounge on comfortable sunbeds and look out into the horizon soaking in the beautiful sunset. This place is run by a very friendly and helpful couple who spoke good english, and practically helped us... more

The artemis studios is a wonderful location with fantastic views of the caldera and sunset. It has very clean rooms, friendly service, and good location if you have transport. 10 mins by bike/car to Fira town centre. 20 mins by bike/car to Oia. Although I loved the scenery of the island and the fabulous views, the beaches were a bit... more

We stayed at the Artemis Studio for 3 glorious days and can happily state that our stay was literally perfect. As the taxi drove up to the glowing white building set against the deep blue sky, we could see that the grounds were lovely and well-tended. We were greeted by Irina (who, together with husband Kosmas, manages the hotel) with... more
