We had already spent 3 nights in the Pelican Hotel (see separate review) – but the sought a change, simply because of the steep hill up to that hotel. We looked at the Carbonaki (central, but grim room), Elena (directly across from the Semeli, grim room but nice lobby, friendly and good value at 90 Euro/night) and finally the Andromeda/Fidelus... more

This was a great hotel. They were just kind of opening up for the season, but we were very impressed. They have a great patio/bar/pool area that has a nice view of the rest of the city. The rooms were very nice. Breakfast was the best. Lots of variety and it all tasted great. I would highly recommend this hotel! more

Our family of 4 stayed here for a couple of nights in April during a brief stay on Mykonos. While we were there, things were quiet in the hotel. We had a suite with 2 bedrooms/1 bath. Beds were comfy and room was clean. Breakfast was nice. The pool area looked very nice though it was too cold to swim.... more

Stayed here for 2 nights in October. Friendly staff, and a beautiful location. The room was on the quaint side, but the decor was pleasant. The breakfast was particularly nice, and one had the option of eating inside or on the patio. Buddha-bar type background music was piped in throughout the pool and patio area all day and all night.... more

Spent my birthday at the Semeli and we could not have had a better time. the staff is super friendly and helpful. the rooms are clean, breezy and nicely decorated. bathrooms were ok but decent for Greece standards. the pool and surrounding bar/lounge area were very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. the food were excellent, views flawless and the location is... more

Spent 2 night here during mid-July. Much like the previous reviews on here, I have to say that the staff was extremely friendly and helpful - especially when I had to leave for the airport and no taxis were available, they drove me to the airport! Now that's service! Thought the location was fine - you will get lost in... more

Wow. This place is not much to look at as you walk up to it, but once inside, it is great. The lobby and restaurant area are very charming. A short walk to our room down a small walkway and we were astounded. The room was 3 floors. A bedroom on the top and bottom, each with a bath and... more

This is my 7th time to Mykonos and have stayed in a variety of different hotels around Hora, and even on other pars of the island and this is by far the best place i have stayed at. We booked with the hotel directly and got a better deal than published rates for a room for 4 people, getting such... more

We were there in offseason, and were expecting quiet..but while the rooms were pretty nice, the value wasn't there. It was over 200 Euro, and we were put in a room with a view, but right over a kids playground that had constant basketball and skateboarding 24/7, so opening the balcony doors to see the view was just irritating in... more

Semeli Hotel despite the sound of it's name, actually looks beautiful and has a very nice scent from the foliage they planted. We booked this hotel via an agent of IVIS travel in Athens. Not only did we have a lovely room but a beautiful view too. The balcony was quiet despite being the room next to the pool (Rm.... more
