We stayed here for 2 weeks in August and has a relatively positive experience. The hotel is well located in terms of beach, bars and restaurants. If you want more of a night out and a wider range of bars and restaurants, Rethymon is a short taxi (8 euros) or bus ride away (2 to 3 euros return). Our room... More

This is a absolutely superb hotel! The hotel is situated 4km from the centre of Rethymnon and it takes about 20 minutes on the bus to get there and about 1 hour of walking. Even though the hotel is quite far out from the centre there is lot's to do. The hotel is actually in a place called Platanus which... More

This is an absolutly fine hotel. It was clean and nice. It is however a lot further away from the center than what we originally thought. It was really good that we spontaneously rented a car when we arrived at the airport. The only incident we had was that we had a friend stay over one night, since it is... More

Me and my partner stayed here for a week during a two week trip to Crete. Rethymnon is a lovely city and as we had hired a car we visited loads of places in the surrounding areas. The hotel itself was clean and spaciously, with a balcony that felt private. The pans were awful, by we managed to cook for... More

If you want 5 star accommodation pay 5 star prices..If you want good clean accommodation at a price you can afford with friendly staff then come to the Apollon. Within walking distance of the beaches and many nice restaurants but if you want a truly Greek taverna... More
