I Had a lovely relaxing weekend at Maravel Hotel. My room was quiet and with great view, pools were very clean (beach is a bit rocky) and staff is helpful and friendly.

Just back from Crete and had a great holiday mainly due to the excellent hotel and how it was run. Would happily recommend to friends and family. Thinking of going back there next year !

We have just got back from the maravel and had a lovely relaxing week and the weather was boiling ! Not a lot to do but laze in the sun and pop in the pool ! The food was adequate but alas no chips on a lunchtime for my 13yr old daughter but she survived ! Not many english there... More

I had the misfortune to have booked an all inclusive holiday at the above resort july 5th to 12th 2011, paying what I at the time thought to be a reasonable sum of £1,100 for two. This is rated as a 4 star hotel , by some fictitious body. The accomadation was avaerage but he toilet facilities for the bar, pool and restuarant was poor to say the least. The food was of a poor standard and there was only a small domestic toaster for 300 people. The pool and area was kept clean. only have entertainment on a thursday night and it was rubbish. When we arrived we were pointed out where the rooms were and not shown to them. Rooms had old furniture with a patched up wall and dirty bathroom with mould that caused the shower to soak the whole bathroom. Beds were hard.
