At the entrance of Rethymno coming from Chania, Delfini offer a dozen of bedrooms at very affordable prices, most of them with king size bed on mezzanine. The best and quiet rooms are of course located in front of sea. The restaurant is located in a wonderful cave with open terrace on sea !! Very romantic ! Smiling service and... More

Excellent location, loved the sound of waves at night. Would only choose a sea view room at this hotel as it is the main attraction. Good location, quieter than in town but only a short walk along a path to centre of Rethymno. Breakfast was great, Restaurant was fantastic, good value and quality. Visited in October and had no problem... More

The hotel is very nice and interesting. The staff was very nice, friendly, very welcoming. The restaurant is the best from entire Creta. Near the hotel (15 km) very is the best beach from Creta names Episcopi, with restaurant and places for children. If you will rent a car you will have thousand places to see.

If staying here I would recommend a room with exterior windows with a lovely view of the sea. If you are seeking a romantic and comfortable stay, make sure your room has a actual double bed. Unfortunately we had an interior room with interior windows which wasn't comfortable for us. Two single beds placed side by side, isn't what I... More

We chose this place on advice from a travel forum post because we were looking for a place to snorkel right from the hotel. The snorkeling is ok, but since there is no beach from the hotel you have to climb down slippery rocks and swim through a lot of debris to get to a decent spot. In retrospect I... More

We had a beautiful view of the sea with a very small balcony. The room was split level, the original room must have been about 15ft high and a bedroom space had been added but shared the original window with downstairs. The room was very basic but had everything we needed, table, fridge, electric hob. The shower itself was tiny... More

This lovely hotel is in an old Turkish building of 500 hundred years. This is a building with character. Breakfast is served on the patio which is right beside the beach. Very nice experience to have breakfast under the blue sky and by the water. The staff are super friendly. Our family room is spacious with split level, special design.

Firstly, if you want glitz, "click finger" service and minute attention to detail with a high tech bathroom, do not book, if however you are like us who wanted a small, charming Hotel with balcony on the sea, a spacious room (duplex), staff who were always happy to meet our requests without question and who arranged car hire for us... We book a room with a see view and instead we ended up getting a trash view, partially see view with an abandon building wall and a trash yard just outside the two room windows......Everything in the room was in the state of collapsing !!Bathroom had chipping ceramics and broken shower and upstair bedroom floor had unfinished carpet, with concrete spaces...
