Clean, pleasant, very central to the nice old old town in Rethymno. Very helpful staff. 10 Euros a night for a perfectly comfy dorm bed, wifi included, bathroom & toilet block in the garden. Basic but a bargain. Would stay there again.

I had slightly unfortunate timing in my trip to Crete in that the weather was actually very cold, windy, and raining. Because of this, it became clear that the insulation in the rooms was not necessarily ideal, as we were pretty cold the first few nights. That being said, if you're there during warmer weather this wouldn't be an issue.... More

Comfortable beds, a nice common area, a central location, and working wifi. You can't ask for much more at a youth hostel, but in Rethymno you'll also get a sense that you are cared for by the amazing staff. I only stayed one night, but at the amazing rates, I dream of going back...

Very low budget dormitory. Perfect for young and not demanding people. With a good company it is ok. The room and the beds were clean. The common showers clean as well. There was even hot water :) In Crete, unfortunately very often, in apartments and in 2 or even 3 stars hotels the rule is: "No sun, no hot water".... More

Alex and Stefan are wonderful hosts. Plenty of local knowledge to impart. I never had a dull day in Crete because of it. Great balcony (with cheap alcohol to purchase from the hostel) on which to meet people. Just a fantastic atmosphere, and a great hostel to use as a base to visit a lot of Crete. Decent rooms, hot... We had a great time here at the hostel. From the communal kitchen to the clean showers, the great location or the atmosphere, you got it all there. Alex and George are what make this hostel special though. These two guys are great company and fun. Alex knows all about Rethymno and the surroundings, is a great cook and will... More

We are sorry the quest was not satisfied however we wish to explain what happened . All rooms are cleaned daily at 11.00 h so the beds were ready for them when the quests arrived . The problem was that we were very full ( for many days in August ) and we had not to much space left for... More

Great location just steps from the beach and the narrow cobbled streets of Rethymno. Amazing warm hospitality offered by the innkeepers - they are happy to talk you through any one of a dozen amazing Crete daytrips easily accessible from this central western location on the island. Easy bussing from the ports in Heraklio, and also from the Samarian George... More

We only stayed for one night but there was always a very friendly and almost party-like kind of atmosphere. All the services are available and generally in decent conditions. They have outdoor accommodation as well if you're up for something out of the ordinary. There is breakfast, snacks, drinks, books, infos, etc. the location is awesome, right in the old... More
