We fell in love with this boutique hotel from the second we walked in. It feels like a romantic movie set. Location is ideal in the old town of Rethymno. It's absolutely adorable. The room was very spacious and clean. The restaurant is delicious, a must try! We simply didn't want to leave. I recommend travelers arriving in Heraklion to... More

We stayed at the Veneto for 11 nights. When arriving in Rethymnon (roughly 1 hour Taxi journey from Heraklion airport) the driver dropped us off as far as he could into the old town - cars are not permitted in the old town. After walking through the beautiful streets to find the Veneto we were greeted with a warm welcome... More

Previously I have reviewed Veneto Restaurant as "probably the best restaurant in the town". But Veneto hotel deserves the top mark just as well. If you want to experience the past of Rethymnon town, stay at Veneto Boutique hotel! The furniture, walls, broad-beam ceilint and mosaic floors on the ground level - all breathes Medieval opulence and history. And every... More

After staying for a week in hotels throughout Greece, the residential feeling of the Veneto was a welcome change. The suite rooms, in particular, feel like small apartments with high ceilings and ample natural light and ventilation (there is also air conditioning, but during the cooler moments of the day, we preferred to keep it natural).

We stayed here for seven nights and had a really enjoyable stay the room was spacious and clean and although abit noisy due to location but you are in the middle of the old town so surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurants so its to be expected. The staff working at reception and at breakfast were very helpful and friendly but... More

We stayed for three nights. The hotel is gorgeous and set in an old Venetian home. Our room (109) was spacious and extremely comfortable. This is not a trendy new-age place, but one that has grace and character from an earlier era with new baths, etc. Highly recommended to those who don't need the slick places of the 'style internationale.'

Veneto Suite is perfectly located in the old town of Rethymnon. A parking is located at +/- 200m of the restaurant. The staff was very efficient and professional. The room was big and very nice but the bathroom need to be refreshed a little bit (some drainage problems). It is not too noisy if you considered you're in the core... More

Situated in one of the by lanes of the old town this hotel is a true reminder of the days bygone. The construction is old though refurbished. The rooms have wooden flooring which creeks. There is a restaurant on the ground floor where breakfast is served too. A little difficult to find initially but it's very conveniently located the fortezza... More

The Veneto was recommended by a good friend and it has exceeded our expectations. Our room was #109 and while not the cave like place pictured in the Trip Advisor guide it was this lovely modern aerie with windows on both sides, views to the lovely courtyard eating area an distant views to the Venetian fortress. The staff were exceptionally... More

I was in Rethymno for 7 days last year and the second night I went to Veneto restaurant. At the beginning, the atmosphere looks amazing. The location and the decor is very beautiful. The white housewine was quite bad and the staff treated us with a relevant ignorance. Pretty much expensive ..in my staying in Rethymno, we ate in different... More
