After reading a mixture of reviews about hotel Orion I felt quite sceptical about the hotel before arriving however, upon arriving I have to say I was very surprised. Can't think of one fault about the place, yes the rooms are very basic but it is what you make it.. After unpacking your belongings and own luxuries it doesn't take... More

I loved our stay at the Orion Hotel! My girlfriend and I went there in the summer of 2015 and stayed 9 days. The food was good and the room was nice. Very friendly people of the hotel aswell, def. at the poolbar! With the bus it was only 10 minutes to the town, which is very beautiful!

The orion was fairly smaller than expected. The plus sides are wonderful staff, from reception to housekeepers, good selection of food, catering for vegetarians, the pool has plenty of sunbeds & space. The bar have a good selection of drinks & friendly service. The downsides which will stop me returning are. There is no entertainment programme daytime or evening, there... More

Alright, this is my first ever review and I planned to write it when I leave back to Denmark tomorrow, but I had to immediately run up to my room to write. This post will probably be longer than my master thesis :)) First of all, I'm a dancer/bboy/breakdancer, so I've had my fair shares of injuries (both short term... More

The room... Stayed on second floor overlooking the pool. The room was clean and tidy but a little strange in its colour scheme. The room had a balcony with a couple of chairs and a table. A small TV provided BBC world service. A fridge and safe were available. A daily charge is made for using the safe. The beds... More

Even thou the weather was bad for 4 days we had an amazing week at Orion Hotel. The staff were great, the room was clean, the pools were fun and the sunbeds were comfortable. It was a five minute walk to the beach where you could rent two sunbeds for 5 euros, two bottles of water included! At the hotel... More

Just got back from Hotel Orion and all i have to say is take no notice of any negative comments regarding this hotel. Rooms are basic but comfy, food is varied, good and more than adaquate, bacon served every alternative day for breakfast, and drinks are served by friendly barstaff, the greek nights and karaoke nights are really good fun... We just arrived back home from Crete, after an all-inclusive week in the hotel. The staff was very friendly (thanks Stelios, Maria, Stratos, Olympia, Popi, and all the rest of the team!), the food was good and diverse (plenty of salad, meat, fish and desserts), it was very clean and welcoming. The location is good, close to the beach (not... More

This hotel suffers from a new trend in travel - the all inclusive problem. We had a large room that was sufficient (in-room fridge, two beds) but it was utterly dreary. Although it's close to the ocean, it sits on the other side of the main road and another hotel blocks any view of the sea one might have. There... More

Don't listen to the bad reviews, people are far too picky! We went on a family holiday for 12 days and enjoyed every single minute of it we didn't want to come home! We are planning on going back this summer. There is a huge variety of food at breakfast, dinner and tea. They also provide snacks all afternoon which... More
