Another great holiday for us at the Pearl Beach. This was our 5th time staying there and everything was just as we remembered, which is just how we like it. Fantastic staff and service - outstanding quality service from maids and reception and the bar and restaurant staff continue to excel at what they do. Hari still runs the beach... more

Stayed in the Pearl Beach Hotel recently and was disappointed in general. The main source of this disappointment was regarding their "4" stars, but apparently, according to other reviews I've read here, 4 stars in Greece are not equivalent to 4 stars in other countries. Stayed in a drab double room which could have done with a refurbishment. Had a... more

The hotel's website has terrible directions and no map. It was not easy to find until we asked directions in a store. The hotel has no parking. You are on your own. Which was fine for us being there in April but you could park miles away in peak season. The hotel is very nice. It has a great design,... more

We were very uncomfortable in our room (nice view, overlooking the sea) due to a very nauseating sewer smell in our room, in the lobby and recreation area, mosquitoes in the room as the air conditioning was turned off on September 15, despite 28 to 32 degree Celsius temperatures while we were there, and we had to leave the balcony... more

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights at the end of October. Very pleased with our spacious room for 3. Imaculately clean and all little touches were thought of, eg. haidryer, kettle, fridge complimentary bottled water etc. Good choice at breakfast in attractive restaurant and nice pool area & outside bar. A little out of Rethymno town centre so reasonably... more

We just got back from our trip to Greece and out of all the islands and hotels we stayed at this one was my least favorite. The hotel was clean and the breakfasts were fine. All the guests were German except for our group. The dinner was a horrible, bland mess. And there was no air conditioning in our room...we... more

spent 1 week at hotel in early june 2007, the room was clean and tidy, with small bathroom area, but very adequate for two adults, had a balcony which faced on the road, which has a lot of traffic during the day and evening, though this did not cause an issue. we stayed on B+B, the breakfast was varied and the service was good, we... more

Just returned from Rythemno, after having a great holiday. If it hadn't been for the review on trip advisor I really would not have gone. Greece in general does not have a great reputation for hotels but this one was everything it said. Nothing was outstanding but overall it was a good 3-4 star hotel. The food was good with... more

My family and I stayed 3 nights at the Pearl Beach Hotel in July 2007 (very recently). This is a nice hotel. We had two rooms - 508 and 507, a triple and a double. Both rooms were small with small (small) bathrooms, but were clean. These two rooms were actually what you may call slightly below ground level -... more
