We stayed at Atelier for 2 nights only during our holiday and have amazing memories from the stay: great host, great place, great location! Can absolutely recommend and if possible, for a longer relaxing stay.

We stayed 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Value for money - clean spacious room, tastefully decorated, great location in old town next to the fortezza. ...I just spend my second summer on Crete and when in Rethymno this is where I stay. I usually like more fancy places this is very simple but really good value for money! Location is right at the fortezza, it doesn't get better then that and it's really well kept by the lovely owner who also owns the pottery shop... More

We stayed here for 5 nights. We appreciated the excellent facilities. The kitchenette made preparing our own meals easy. The room was cleaned perfectly. The location made walking to all the sights easy. Frosso the owner was very helpful and shared her knowledge of the area generously.

We stayed two nights. The rooms are clean, quiet, and comfortable. The owners are friendly and helpful. It's an old building, completely remodeled inside, inclusive of a kitchenette in the room. Parking is hit or miss immediately adjacent to the building, but there are parking spaces along the beach, adjacent to the fortress, roughly a five-minute walk to Atelier. So... More
