Hotel is well located, the staff is very, very, very friendly( Thanks Andreas and Mike!) No complaints about the food, cleanliness, or the pool. Even the gym and childrens play area are great. In my opinion, the hotel earns a four star rating. If I´m going to visit Chania, I´m sure to book this hotel again!

Had rather high hopes for The Imperial - went especially for an evening meal. Early season - not many guests yet. The food was rather lacklustre and bland. None of our dishes were piping hot/hot - merely tepid, possible heated up. This included beef bourg sauce with rice and side order of halloumi. Could've been a decent meal if food... More

Friendly staff, tasty buffet breakfast, very large portions at dinner, very child friendly hotel overall. Most guests are families with children. Relaxed atmosphere, clean pool, well equipped gym with aircon. Not the place for party animals, hotel is situated at a quiet beach. Some of the rooms are bit dated, some are renovated depending on which option you choose. Very... More

We stayed here one week in October. The hotel (not B&B?) was quite nice. One family owns it and two sons, Mike and Andreas were entertaining customers in the pool bar. All the customers were from Finland and those friendly guys spoke also some Finnish! Rooms were nice and spacious, pool okay, also warm jacuzzi outside. Beach was other side... More

Great holiday, stayed at the hotel a week in May 2012. Affordable and delicious food, child-friendly hotel. In a quiet environment, no through traffic (been in Platanias). Mike and Andreas=entertaining duo. A great pool area. Gym ok. New rooms (studios) were fantastic.

We stayed for a week and really enjoyed the place. It was in front of the beach, which was rocky, but had an excellent view. The pool was large. It is adjoined to the bar, which looks like a glass gazebo, and the building that has the reception/dining room. There was a good video on youtube titled "best hotel in... More

Very loud karaoke music in cocktail bar which could be heard from a distance of 200m sometimes till 3:30am. Barman has a very loud voice which goes on all day. This can be heard 100m away in a nearby restaurant. He repeats constantly things he has picked up from customers in a parrot fashion. Although the the other ammenities appear... More
