The Ledra is a friendly, well run hotel..... We had an enjoyable week there although the end of April was still very quiet and many of the local bars and tavernas were not yet open. Andonis and staff are very efficient and run a very 'tight ship' rooms are clean, well appointed, cool and the rooms are cleaned every day... More

We booked to go to the Ledra Maleme for 3 weeks having found a bargain on the Olympic website. The 3 of us, Dad, Mum and daughter, flew Easyjet to Chania, Crete on 27th August. The flight was good, on time and we arrived at the Ledra at 10pm. The room was large, airy, very clean and had the best... More

Although basic with a 32 inch TV(!)...We asked for a toaster - which we were loaned a sandwich maker, they do their best to accommodate you. Plenty of free books in reception. We had 2 evening meals with them both excellent. Antonio speaks good english. Lots of local shops for self caterers. Even a new recently opened big chain one... More

I stayed here for a week with my friend - we were both very happy with our stay. The staff were really nice and very helpful with tour bookings, etc. There's a restaurant at the hotel, where "mama" cooks up some really delish food - I can especially recommend the greek salad. The pool area is clean and has a... More

Good hotel in a quiet village close to the main attractions of the island. The nation road is just 3 kilometers away, there are also direct buses between Maleme and Hania, overall the hotel is clean and the rooms are very large, clean and just good accessories. The owner is a nice person and friendly, his mother's kitchen in the... More

Thank you so much Antonis & team! We had the most amazing time - all staff were lovely, food fantastic, such a relaxing place. Location was great for beach, though we much much preferred the atmosphere around the pool, this is a place we can't wait to visit again! Please look after white cat ;)

We stayed at Ledra Maleme ,Chania, for slightly over a week , apart from the quiet area, the helpful receptionist and the partially accommodating manager/owner, the overall experience in the establishment was poor and unprofessional , not to mention a staff member that was rude , unwelcoming and forcefully doing his job. Out of the 8 days, towels and bed... More

If you want somewhere fashionable with lots of facilities, and an impressive façade; Ledra is not for you. The track to reception is dusty and passes the odd rubbish bin and a few tatty cars. The sea can just be seen a few hundred yards away, and there is the occasional whiff of sulphur from somewhere unseen, but before you... More
