The hotel is located at the egde of a small village, Koutsunari. A few shops and taverns within walking distance. A beach belonging to the hotel, and a cove good for swimming and snorkeling (very clear water but not much to see). Many (free in May) sunbeds (not very comfortable) and sun umbrelas in the beach and some near the... More

I am writing this review from the terrace of my Kakkos Bay bungalow on the last night of an 8 day all inclusive stay booked via Polish tour operator Itaka. The hotel looked good in the brochure, but the reality is even better! Beautiful location is used to good effect with the main hotel building and restaurant overlooking Greek style... More

The hotel has bungalows and rooms in a main building. We've stayed in a very nice renewed bungalow in Greek style with big modern bathroom. The room looked clean, but when I was checking the everything before checkout I found 1 cm layer of dirt under the bed. The staff was very friendly, however when I had one question about... More

Great value for money - nice (but a little bit simple) and clean rooms, a lot of flowers everywhere, very good beach. The best was food - local and prepared like at home. South of Crete is very quiet so do not expect any nightlife, but if you want to rest, it is a right place. I recommend to rent... More

This hotel was the perfect spot for us. It is in a beautiful bay situated right on the beach. The accommodation was large and spotlessly clean. We had a large balcony overlooking the sea, as did most of the rooms. There was air conditioning and a 'frig - very welcome in the hot weather. This is a family run hotel... More

we've been to Kakkos bay this august and were 2 families with each 2 children. We booked the bungalows closest to the beach and included breakfast only which was just as well because considering the breakfast menu and seeing the food for the 'all included' guests or for the 'half board' guests we were definetly better off having lunch or... Excellent family hotel. The staff is excellent with help an info for every question. Beautiful garden with bungalows built into the lush garden surroundings. The pebble beach is sheltered with water so clear you can see 20 meters to the bottom. The food is excellent with Greek specialties and also foods for those who want non Greek food. The hotel... The best hotel for people who are looking for quiet and silent summer holiday.Far away from too touristy areas with huge hotels.Ferma is small village, where are just few tavernas and few tourist shops-the best is KALIMERA SHOP near the bus stop, as all this Ierapetra area is mostly agriculture area.Near the hotel, just 3 km is beautiful waterfall. We absolutely recommend... The whole compound is located on a slope with the main building at the top /our family rom for 4 was in it/, the bungalows in the garden-like area below, the pool with its bar and finally the beach with small pebbles and pristine water /very different from the tourist intense locations in the North of Crete where you have... We chanced on this hotel as we had driven from Iraklion and pulled the car in as it looked nice; pleasant reception and reasonable price (60Euro per room + breakfast) in little chalets with nice beach and pool with cafe, good sheltered swimming. Good taverna downhill at cheaper rooms- go down opposite entrance.
