Everything is new and modern, up to the fact that you have a clothes iron and ironing board in the closet. It is a clean hotel, quiet and the staff is very helpful. The receptionist help me for 20 minutes to get out of a parking while I was blocked.

The hotel is well located for visiting Heraklion and offers all the facilities that a traveller may need. Rooms are all different but well fitted out in a modern style. There is a small roof area for sitting out to enjoy a quiet moment after a hectic day sightseeing. A great breakfast buffet is provided albeit that the tables are... More

We stayed in Kastro Hotel in October, 2014, and we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The reception service was competent, polite and relaxed. The room was neat and clean, with good beds, air condition (that worked), TV, and a nice bathroom. The breakfast was very decent, with Greek as well as international dishes. If we add the brilliant location, virtually in... More

This is one of those jewels that you keep hoping to discover! Our room was very comfortable, with an ultra-modern bath including a shower to die for. The location is superb, just steps from the center of town. If you're renting a car, you can park at a garage just a block away at a reduced rate if you let... More

We are return guests. This hotel does everything right. Plus it is ideally located for catching a ferry, a plane or dinner down at the nearby morozoni Venetian lions fountain. Rooms 55, 54, and the suite, room 53 sit around a roof garden that is a wonderful shady place to hang out at between 3-5 pm when all the stores... More

Definitely recommended. We arrived at very awkward hour (4a.m.) but it seems they gave us the 1st available room and we were checked in by 9am. Stayed on the 5th floor and it felt like staying in a house or a bungalow, with the huge terrace at your doorstep. Room was very well equipped - see pictures for details, they... More

This hotel is a great value for the money, if staying in the city center of Heraklion. We were in Room 54 on the roof terrace which was wonderful! Modern, updated room, very comfortable beds, lots of international TV stations, spacious shower and a view over the city & a peek at the sea from the terrace. Just watch the... More

We stayed at this hotel for a weeks holiday with my family and we left extremely satisfied. First of all the price is very reasonable with the value that you get. The location of the hotel is a 2 minutes walk away from the city centre square which is very convenient. There is also a supermarket and bakery not even... More

Stayed one night at hotel Kastro. It is situated downtown and is a good location to stay if you are taking a ferry the next day (7 euro taxi ride from hotel to the port). Room was clean and had air conditioning, free WiFi. Breakfast was included - morning cake was very good. Staff was very kind and spoke excellent... More
