Fantastic service, I arrived early and the staff were welcoming and got the room ready early for me even though I had not given them any notice. I was given two keys to choose which of their lovely rooms I preferred, and found it difficult to decide! Lovely decor with a Nikos Kazantzakis theme, rooms very clean and modern, and... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room was comfortable and cool, the location was excellent, close both to the waterfront and the El Greco Park which adjoined the central square, and the woman at reception was extremely helpful and friendly. We particularly appreciated being able to go up to the roof garden, with its (admittedly artificial) grass and banana lounges... More

Stayed here for 2 nights, highly recommended. Rooms very modern and clean. Good breakfast. Would stay here again. Would also recommend small taverna across the road from hotel for good food and drink.

Stayed one night and we were highly satisfied. The room was clean and managed to get good sleep, wifi was working fine and bathroom was spotless. Maria at the reception was so nice and kind and arranged rental car for us the next morning and we returned it at the airport. We ate in the restaurant opposite the hotel building... More

Overall good, but: Although the room was VERY clean (they changed the linen very often) the only facility it had was liquid soap in the shower, not even by the sink. The photo which they have in the booking.com is misleading in my opinion; you think it is very near the sea, however, the photo was taken from a specific... More

We stayed here for four nights to do a variety of activities.. Walking, museums, architecture and of course partaking of the wealth of seafood and local wines available here. Heraklion is a great initial city for Crete travel and this hotel makes everything absolutely reachable on foot. The hotel location is equally good for walking to the Venetian fort or... More

This is a good low-budget hotel with plenty of value-adding. From Nikita's reception welcome to the free wifi, clean, well-appointed room, well-insulated against aircraft noise (the airport is VERY close to town), comfy bed and a nice buffet breakfast. We didn't get to experience the rooftop garden and unfortunately they are full when we pass through at the end of... More

Reasonably priced for those on a budget A couple of minutes walk to the centre but not so close as to be disturbed by noise Comfortable rooms with sufficient space (double room with two sharing) Good bathroom and shower - excellent water pressure Air conditioned Modern decoration - a little naff in places but still decent Friendly staff - helped... This is a lovely hotel, very clean and well presented. The location is great. A 5 minute walk to the centre of town where there are many cafés shops and restaurants or five minutes in the other direction to the restaurants on the sea front. There is a nice rooftop garden with a view of the sea. The best thing is... More

We were only here for one night but will book next time we are in Heraklion. The hotel, for us was first class. The location was perfect, it is so central. The rooms were very clean and modern with a great shower. We really liked the staff, they couldn't have been more friendly. We are to return to Heraklion in... More
