We spent a wonderful 10 days exploring Crete from this villa. The owner couldn't have been more helpful, with accurate directions and advice; and one can order fabulous meals in advance, home-cooked by his mother using organic produce from their own farm (including wild boar!) We visited Greece in April 2006. Our holiday ended with 3 nights in Crete at Villa Creta. They have 2 villas and we chose the smaller one, Villa Despoina, on top of a hill overlooking a valley. The view was beautiful, you can see sunrise from the balcony and sunset from your own private garden. The villa's pool was huge.... More
