Atrion was great for us: - good location near the port - excellent breakfast with lots of choice - nice rooms - wi fi working fine (except the fact that we had to refresh the connection every 10-15 minutes) The only bad side: parking. But this seems to be a problem everywhere in the city center. We would go back... More

We stayed at the Atrion after a long flight. The hotel is a short walk from the train station, port and restaurants. The breakfast was fine. They have a nice connecting room which fits 5 beds. The staff tried to be helpful when possible and gave a nice dinner recommendation.

We had a great time at the Atrion Hotel in Crete. The breakfast is very good and exceeds what you typically get at a Holiday Inn. You should be aware they generally serve traditional Greek breakfast foods like olives, feta, tomatoes, etc. but still had the standard fare of cereal and baked goods. The hotel was clean and the bathroom... More

We stated here as an overnight stop. Great buffet breakfast. Clean and spacious rooms. Close to city centre to grab a bit to eat. Staff at resorption were very helpful with everything we asked. One down side was the beds were very firm. Overall i would stay again.

I found by chance this hotel for my one week stay in Crete. It was a good home to stay in and to return in from the discovering trips. Pleasant neighborhood, well organized small room and generous balcony, carefully prepared breakfast. People with sincerely open kindness, always responsible for their guests. Thank you! Very clean and modern hotel in a good (perfectly safe) location. Excellent rooms and slept like a log.Very good and wide choice of cooked and cold breakfasts - buffet so help yourself - regularly replenished so nothing stale. Very friendly and helpful staff too. Great value for money. I can't agree with a single criticism that has been made and... More

We stayed at The Atrion in May and enjoyed our stay. The hotel and rooms are clean and well appointed. At first the hotel may appear to be not well situated but it is in fact only a 5 minute walk from the central pedestrianized street of Heraklion. The breakfast is more than adequate.

This is a really good hotel with great service and an excellent breakfast as other have noted. We had a family of 4 in the room and had plenty of space. The rooms were newly appointed and in great condition. I'm baffled by the comments about the location and noise. If you pick a hotel in a city center anywhere,... More

We were very glad we stayed at the Atrion. The room for our visit was arranged by friends who live in Iraklio (Heraklion) so their local knowledge and help certainly came in handy. The hotel is centrally located, a short walk to the harbour (we walked with luggage to get our departing ferry in about 15 mins from the hotel),... More
