Me and my boyfriend spent last night in this hotel and when we arrived we were nicely surprised. We were upgraded (from a basic double room to a junior suite). The hotel is nice and well located. That specific room was very good and the breakfast truly amazing for its big variety. It could have been a 4/5 star one.... More

Clean room for three with a balcony. Not high enough floor to get a great sea view. Breakfast room has an out door space which is nice. Food choices were fine. Hotel is located on a side street which is quite narrow with difficult to navigate sidewalks. Very near pedestrian streets with restaurants.

Friendly reception, very good service, good breakfast; excellent room (high floors have sea view, over the top of neighbouring buildings), the room was large and spacious for the two of us, water pressure in the shower always good (may be an issue in the Greek islands), pleasantly decorated, functional, with a large terrace with table and chairs where you can... The staff was terrific. The breakfast outstanding. Comfortable bed. Nice modern decor. It is in a good central location. We had requested a non smoking room and very put in a smoky room. It was changed to another room but this room had a musty smell. The price was very reasonable. Get rid of the smells and it will be... More

A block from the waterfront and the Historical Museum of Crete, and the city centre is barely a five-minute walk. It is close to just about everything, but on a relatively quiet street. One of the hotel's advertising pictures might make it look as though the hotel is directly on the waterfront, with balconies cantilevered over the water. There are... More

Good staff, large triple room, clean, comfortable, sound-proof, good situation a few minutes walk from old town and haven. Breakfast more than adequate with nearly everything you would like except fruits (only water-melon). Aircon and WIFI ok. 2 small greek not "too much touristic" restaurants in the same street for lunch or dinner. In case you would like to rent... More

The hotel was a nice solution for someone that would need to stay around the city centre and walk near by. The service was quite good and the breakfast was rich enough. The only minus to this hotel was the air-condition system which was rather poor and making the atmosphere during night sultry and full of bad smells. The whole... More

Best part: excellent service. Reasonably well located, quite neighbourhood. Easy to get to (I did not drive so I cannot comment on parking issues). Rooms are not the most recent style but are very comfortable. Stellar housekeeping. Nice views from the balcony if you have one. A/C working fine. Excellent breakfast. I would certainly go back if I'm back to... More

Atrion was great for us: - good location near the port - excellent breakfast with lots of choice - nice rooms - wi fi working fine (except the fact that we had to refresh the connection every 10-15 minutes) The only bad side: parking. But this seems to be a problem everywhere in the city center. We would go back... More

We stayed at the Atrion after a long flight. The hotel is a short walk from the train station, port and restaurants. The breakfast was fine. They have a nice connecting room which fits 5 beds. The staff tried to be helpful when possible and gave a nice dinner recommendation.
