It's a very good quality hotel with excellent people working in it. Only problems we found its one the baths that the water is once cold once hot and the parking area that its too expensive and we had to park to another parking area far away. All the other things like the food the breakfast etc are excellent and... More

We stayed at Capsis Astoria for 3 nights in June. The hotel and the room were very clean and very nicely furnished. The pool at the hotel roof was perfect. Only down side would be the price. We paid 65 euro as a special deal due to been invited to a wedding in the area which was a great price... More

We are a family of 4 and we missed our flight from Heraklion to Rhodes so we had to find accommodation at 9:30pm that night. After ringing a few hotels who could not accommodate a family of 4 - Capsis advised they had a family room available. We weren't sure what to expect, however, when we opened that door -... More

This hotel is close by the port, bus station and a short walk to all the main attractions and restaurants. Very friendly staff although they could do with more help at reception when it gets busy. The rooftop pool is a major plus particularly in the summer heat! Comfortable rooms , good wifi - would recommend it for any short... More

This is a well-run, comfortable and modern hotel right in the heart of Heraklion. The squares, shopping streets, archeological museum, buses, taxis, restaurants and more are right on your doorstep, literally. The bus to Knossos is 10 metres away. The port and bus depot to other towns is a leisurely 10 minute stroll. The old Venetian Fort is also easily... More

There was too much noise from the bar on the rooftop, it was hard to sleep. The atmosphere and decoration are outdated and do not fit in a 4star hotel. Nonetheless tge room was nice and the rooftop with swimming pool were stunning.

The Capsis Astoria hotel is in a very central location in Heraklion. Shops, cafés, restaurants and historical attractions are all walking distance from the hotel. It is an ideal base for exploring the town of Heraklion and beyond. Outside of the hotel, you can catch many buses that will take you to the beach or historical sights such as Knossos.... More

The hotel is situated in the most convenient place. Taxi, bus and convenience stores are right outside its door. Everything was clean and tidy and the housekeeping was excellent. Helpful staff and reception in specific. Magnificent view from the roof cafe/restaurant and fast room service.
