I spent four nights in this hotel...Its not that bad at all. Rooms are quite small but comfy and the bathroom is nice and clean. It is located just couple minutes from the city centre...the downside is that there is a lot of noise especially during night hours...breakfast is good and it will cost you around 8 Euros..Don't be fooled... This hotel is ideally sited, central location very close to bars, restaurants and shops. The breakfast is good and reasonably varied with great views out across the square. The hotel is lean and the staff very friendly, the rooftop bar and pool area is enormous and really good. The only niggles were the junior suite room 301 has a very... More

The hotel Capsis Astoria is a beautiful modern hotel in an excellent location. We were with our Dionysian Society and were a group of 42. The hotel management was warm and welcoming. The rooms were very comfortable and clean with excellent amenities. George, the front desk manager, went out of his way to make our stay very enjoyable. He even... More

we spent one night (before our early morning flight out) at the Capsis as a family of 4--2 adults, 2 teens. My husband had stayed at the hotel previously during a conference. While I think the hotel is ok--halls are a bit dark, furnishings are a bit worn, could use a fresh coat of paint--the staff was wonderful. We arranged... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks last summer with my mum and daughter. We had a really nice stay. The hotel is modern, clean and has friendly staff. On arrival (which was early hours in the morning) we were put in a room with no balcony even though we had booked one with a balcony, we were told... More

An average city hotel. Spent there a night. It is situated in a very good location and friendly staff but the rooms are average, with old furniture and needs refurbishment. Some rooms are quite dark and without balcony. Breakfast was not bad. There is no health club.

For the past seven years as a frequent business traveler I have stayed in hotels for over 1,100 nights all over the USA and Europe. I have stayed in hotels that are in good shape and the opposite. This was among the worst experiences ever. The 1st night we got in late and slept immediately. The next day, we noticed... More

A city hotel, within walking distance from downtown, with comfortable rooms, and average service. We were supposed to check in at 14:00, but were shown to our room 3 hours later, exhausted and disappointed to discover it wasn't worth the money. The bathroom had not been thoroughly cleaned, and there were smells coming from the windows that overlooked an internal... More

only bad comment would be the need to change the mattresses. If this takes place, it would definitely shift the hotel one star from me. Excellent staff, VERY helpful! very tasteful breakfast and with a wide variety
