Historic Heraklion is around the corner while the roof top pool rewards your feet after roaming through history. There is so much to see so allow a few days. At night the lights sparkle from the rooftop as you meet fellow travellers over a cocktail. The hotel is well maintained and the buffet breakfast a hearty way to start the... More

Very recommended budget hotel. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Me my wife and 1.5 year old son. The location is very central next to one of Heraklion most toured squares and popular shopping streets. Room was very big and quiet. Some sort of junior suite even though we booked a standard room. Breakfast was above average and... More

Not only is this hotel totally in the centre of Heraklion, but also the stuff is really friendly, the accomodation is luxurious, beauty and aesthetic lies in every corner of the hotel and the price is really cheap regarding the hotel's offers. You can enjoy the poor and the top floor and your drinks at night. The only negative aspect... More

Having come to Chania from the States with no onward hotel booking, we needed a place to move on to in Heraklion. Capsis Astoria came up on a booking site with a great price and we took it on the basis of being close to the bus station. It turned out to be a terrific choice for everything we wanted... More

very good location at the center of the city with access to all sightseeing of Heraklion. Very nice rooms, very kind personnel, good buffet, unfortunately the weather was not ideal for the open pool. the roof garden is very busy but the noise at the rooms was almost insignificant. overall very nice experience

The Capsis Astoria makes up for some faults by having a very friendly and helpful staff. Otherwise this is a fairly typical corporate hotel. The public areas are very nice, but the rooms are a bit tired and rather small. The bathroom in particular is very small and the shower is not easy to use. The aircon is very powerful,... More

Well run corporate hotel on a lovely square right in the centre of Heraklion. We travelled by bus from the airport ( 1.5 euros each) and it dropped us right outside the hotel the last stop on the route at the terminus. A taxi would have cost 10 euros. We stayed two nights and found our rooms to have a... More

This hotel is located across the street from the Heraklion Museum and the ferry.Location is great, accommodations are clean, but the room needed some sprucing up as it shows wear. Worked for me as I was only there one night! Breakfast was excellent, a full buffet consisting of traditional Cretian food and English breakfast items.

Staying for business and was very happy with the location of the hotel and the noise level (fairly quiet on the floor I was on at least). The breakfast and dinner in the hotel were fantastic! Staff were incredibly helpful when assistance was needed. The room however was pretty standard and very dated. The cleanliness of the room was not quiet... More
