Great place to stay if just looking for a place to sleep for night or two. Very cheap. A clean sheet was provided and my bed was comfortable and clean. Owner was very helpful with information re cultural events and checked the local papers for me. The building is old and has great character ..personally I enjoyed that aspect of... More

Stayed here on a short trip to heraklion from rethymnon. Location was just of the main strip in Heraklion makingnit pretty easy to find from the bus station. Price i paid was about 10 euro this only got me a bed but i knew that so it was fine. Yes it is true that there are no locks on the... More

It is the cheapest hostel I have ever been to in Europe but also one of the worst. I stayed for two separate nights, which made it manageable with not showering and using the toilet as little as possible. In my experience, the female staff is friendly. The young man gets annoyed if you ask to many questions and the... More

If you are a backpacker that stayed in 6 usd dorms in southeast asia you will be fine, this hostel deserves somethig like 80% The problem is that spoiled tourists want to pay 10eu and get 5 stars hotel service, i hate this kind of people The place is fine, great location, 10min walk from the ferry or bus station...... Don't know where to start. The first day there I lost my dignity taking shower and the second I lost my make up stuff. Dorms are constantly open, they have no security lockers. There is a curfew at 1:30. Separate dorms for mald and female but common toilets. And they are called yputh hostel! No one there has a sense... More

DO NOT STAY HERE!! Absolutely horrendous! We were there for probably a total of 40 minutes in total and ended up going and asking if we could get our money back and check out. The lady was completely unreasonable and gave us a thousand reason why we couldn't get out money back. We argued valued points of the fact it... More

There is only one shower for all the guests, the toilets are have no seat and are dirty. You only get one clean sheet to sleep. For the same price or slightly more you can get a relative good hotel in Herlaklion.

It may be cheap but nothing is worth getting bugs living on you. On top of that it was dirty, I hardly wanted to use the washrooms or showers, and the people staying there were practically homeless. Avoid this place at all costs.

It's a really bad place. We asked for a room for two persons, they got us a key for a room with three dirty bunk beds not well placed in the room and two towels that were not looking good at all. We checked the bathroom and it's smelly and not that clean. We got the key back to the... More

It was dirty, bathrooms were absolutely disgusting and smelly (we actually decided not to shower there), rooms were barely cleaned up and it was so cold I could feel the wind blowing through my hair at night. True, it's not very expensive, but for 10 euros I've stayed at incomparably nicer places. Defifnitely not a place to recommend.
