This hostel is really quiet, I like it, there are lot of things to do and see nearby in a walk distance, like museums, bars and restaurants, also i liked the price. The things that I didn't like were: The bathrooms and showers could be cleaner, and there are no lockers or a safe place to guard your belongings.

My boyfriend and I arrived and were ready to sleep in two separate rooms (boys and girls) for 20€. But they suggested us to have a room together, for more expensive, 25€. We were surprised and thought they have a special room with double bed. But they just let us to sleep in one of the rooms of boys/girls that... More

nothing too exciting (though the little balconies outside the rooms are a nice touch--as long as the cleaning lady doesn't LOCK YOU OUT THERE), but it has clean sheets and wifi. the service is very basic, but at least they don't laugh too much if you accidentally get locked out on the balcony.

Not sure if this place should be called "Hostel". Personally I don't find this place "Hostel". It is less than that. As of December 2014, renovation work is going on. Everything in public area is covered with dust because of that. I have no idea how the place will be improved when the renovation is done finally but it seems... More

This place was ok for me because I've been in some pretty rank places on my travels. But... As far as hostels go, it wasn't really ideal. Pros: Bed is comfy, quiet hostel, great location, wifi works, communal fridge and kettle, free tea and coffee, towels included, rooms are big, lockers for valuables, quite nice decor - I like the... I didn't like having no AC, but I've dealt with worse in the jungles of SE Asia. There's no bar, so I went to a store just down the street close to the main road and picked up some bottles and brought them back. Sharing experiences with others coming from all parts of the world in a quite – friendly... More

That's about it though. The bathrooms were pretty shabby. The rooms were spacious though. You can even sleep rooftop if you want. There was a single shower for the whole building. There aren't lockers and the doors of the rooms remain opened to anyone who wanna come in. The curfew wasn't a problem cause I've stayed for one day, however if you wanna go out, keep that in mind. There is a "luggage store", but you are charged to leave anything there.

For your €10.00 a night you get a mattress in a room. There is no air conditioning so all the doors and windows are left open at night, there is also the option to sleep in beds on the roof under the stars. (Romantic?) The good points are the hostels central location, close to the port and bus station and... More
