On a recent trip to Crete, we travelled east to Lasthi to meet our friends who were visiting Elounda. Without any recommendations, we booked what seemed a good deal the Elounda Palm and we were surprised pleasantly! Stayed ata one of their rooms - that because the next day we discovered that the hotel offered villas w private pools and... More

We booked this last minute so the choice of holiday was limited. We opted for the Elounda Palm and when we arrived we were dropped off at a steep road end in the dark and had to find our way to down the hill with all out luggage. Our room was average as it was located on the ground floor... More

We had two rooms with a private pool and an amazing view of Elounda Bay - worth the extra cost. The people at this hotel to tremendous pride in the place, they couldn't have tried harder or been nicer. They were very helpful with recommendations also.

For the 3rth time: great hotel, marvelous staff!! Sotiris, the bartender looks after the guests in the evening, and makes sure that everyone has a good time and that no one leaves the hotel during night. :-) Romance is in the air and would always be there if the hotel switched to 'adults only' - concept, so breakfast, lunch and... This is an average hotel but not luxurious. Very far from the beach - you must really have a car as the distance to Elounda Village or the beach is not walkable at all! The pool looked average - but we did not try it and stuck to the beach instead (we highly recommend Plaka beach!). The service was poor.... More

This is a very good hotel with a very friendly service. You feel home from the moment you arrive. Breakfast is complete and they serve very good coffee. The hotel is on walking distance from Elounda were there a good restaurants and the village is less crowded then Agios Nikolaos. Around Agios Nikolaos are great beaches.

We stayed at The Palm for a week in early July. Booked a room with an infinity pool which we shared with the next room. It was definitely worth the extra. Great view over the olive groves towards the sea. This is a relatively small hotel with a really nice and chilled atmosphere. Staff were especially friendly and helpful. We... More

I booked this hotel for 4 days as part of my honeymoon. I was not very happy and neither was my husband. The staff were friendly enough but the room was terrible. It smelled really bad of sewerage and nothing made the smell go away. It must have been the plumbing for the toilet. The shower was tiny too. This... More

We returned from a relaxing stay at the Elounda Palm just over 2 weeks ago. It was our first stay on Crete although we have stayed on several other Greek Islands before. Our stay got off to an inauspicious start, after a long wait on the coach at the airport and a long journey (we were the second last hotel... More

We booked a one night stay at this hotel, it was enough! We travelled down to Elounda from Chania to make the trip across to Spinalonga. The trip was an emotional one for us, as my two well educated friends ( all of us in our forties and well travelled) were making the trip as a tribute to a woman... More
