We chose Elounda village as we wanted a quiet adult only hotel for our honeymoon and thats excatly what we got. We where there for 7 nights, half board, the last week of May 2014. OK its a Greek 5 star hotel, which we in England would we would call more 4 star. Hotel and room where clean and tidy,... More

My husband and I returned from Crete last week and had an absolutely superb stay at the Elounda Village. The room we had was beautiful yet on our 4th night we were upgraded (over a very minor issue that was resolved immediately) to one of the best rooms in the hotel with a private swimming pool- it was bliss! The... More

We stayed at the Aquila Elounda Village for two weeks from 29 June. We absolutely loved the hotel and had a wonderfully relaxing time. Having said that, I think it is probably more a 4 star than a 5 star hotel. We upgraded to All Inclusive and were very glad that we had as the drinks looked very expensive and... More

Although my wife and I had mostly a good holiday, we found that this I NOT really what you would expect from a 5star hotel (and it should not be classed as that). out of a list of 53 cocktails, you only had the choice of 18 and that included the non-alcoholic ones to. Certain items that were on the... More

Thoroughly loved this holiday. Elounda is beautiful and the views are gorgeous. Hotel had high standards and excellent attention to detail. We paid extra for all inclusive and glad we did! Plenty of choices food and drink in the all inclusive package. Cocktails were amazing... Not a slush puppy machine in sight!! All inclusive mini bar topped up daily in... More

We loved this hotel. It was a late choice and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food was plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed the private beach and utilised most of their facilities but not their gym (but that's only because we were on holiday and didn't want that sort of exercise!). The situation was great,... Apart from one small niggle when we arrived and had to drag our cases up the stairs to reception before someone came out to ask if we need help! ( we are 60 and 64) This is a very nice hotel all round. We stayed half board as I do not drink and my wife has the odd glass, so... More

Very relaxing time away, most comfy sunbeds! Evening entertainment relaxing and enjoyable, Greek night well worth attending. Plenty of choice of food at all buffet meals, mbira bello restaurant book day before, nice setting looking over the bay and they are not shy on portion sizes. Rooms spotless, mini bar restocked daily with items various that are included in the... More

We spent a week at this lovely hotel from 22nd June. The staff are all very helpful and polite and always enjoy sharing their knowledge of the area. We walked into Elounda a few times and caught the boat over to Spinalonga which cost 10 euros and a further 2 euros for island tax. Please read the book The Island... More
