This hotel is gorgeous. The view from the poolside is absolutely stunning and even in August, we always found a sunbed. The staff are friendly and polite and always stopped to say hello as you walked around the hotel grounds. We took a trip to Spinalonga which was well worth it. Don't book the trip through your travel company, just... More

My husband and I stayed here for our Honeymoon and we had a great stay but I am not sure it is up to the standard it should be. The buffet in the evening is nothing to get excited about and as we were all inclusive (although not a lot is included in the package here) we were pretty disappointed.... More

So this year was the 5 year in a row that we have visited Aquila Elounda Village Hotel. It is quite simply perfect. The rooms/bungalows are lovely, spacious and set on a hill side in botanical gardens going down to a private beach. The hotel has a lovely spa, pools and a scuba dive school that is outstanding. The food... More

Ok so let's be clear this is a resort, so it is in no way at walkable distance from any town centre and it is certainly not Santorini. You need a car, Crete is a large island. Also as long as you are taking this as a base point and not a place where you're going to spend ALL your... More

Went here in May for a week with partner - a little late in writing my review. We had a lovely time and fell in love with Elounda, its a small village and the people were so friendly and welcoming. The hotel was lovely and clean and grounds were spacious. We spent most days in Elounda which was about a... More

We stayed here in July this year. I'll start with the good stuff, sorry thing. The room itself was nice with good views. That's where it ends. The rest of the experience is a bad one! Its all inclusive buffet restaurant is no better than a 3 star hotel. Then there are other restaurants you can go to, but you... More

It has taken me a long time to write this review having stayed here in September. We booked this as a last minute holiday for a much needed break. There is still very little positive I can say about this hotel. It lacks any kind of atmosphere in my opinion. The "beach area" was a little jetty with a small... More

Beware! This is definitely a couples hotel! We were a party of 4 female friends and we were made to constantly feel ' the odd ones out'! Despite emailing and phoning the hotel and travel company advising them that we were 4 friends wanting 2 TWIN rooms and assured we would have TWIN rooms we arrived to double beds! The... More

We had for a long time fancied crete as a holiday destination and looked long and hard for a resort that suited us. At check in we were upgraded to a prestige room, which was large and bright with modern floral fabrics and a huge shared terrace. The facilities were average, a tiny TV (with limited English speaking channels) a... More

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of October and it was everything and more that we had hoped for. The hotel was spotless, not at all stuffy yet everything was just as it should be for a five star hotel. The food was great with an amazing choice. We especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and freshly squeezed orange... More
