This is really a gem. It is located in a small quiet side street only a 5 minute walk from the harbor. Our room was modern, large and comfortable. The beds were firm, but not overly so. The pillows were very nice. We had a small balcony over an alley. The bath was modern and clean. Despite being only a... More

Hotel Ionas is a little boutique hotel about 5 mins walk from the Old Port. Although a rather old building structure, it is equipped with elevator. The room we were assigned was pretty spacious, and nicely decorated.

I strongly recommend this hotel. The localisation is just perfect in the middle of Old Town surrounded by beautiful old buildings, little restaurants and coffee shops. Hotel stuff was very polite and helpful and the room was great.

Stayed here for a week as an alternative to the usual mass market stuff. Excellent small hotel located in the old town. Although a ground floor room with no balcony we had French doors which meant you could sit outside easily. Room was faultless with excellent walk in shower. Many excellent restaurants nearby and all offering fresh food at really... More

We spent one night here before moving on to Paleochora. Great place to stop. I love the location as it's just far enough away from the main tourist track but close enough to be down around the harbour within a few minutes walk. There are a couple of decent restaurants on its doorstep if you've arrived late and tired and... More

My wife and I spent a fantastic fortnight here in August. This is a beautifully restored, small hotel with traditional character in Old Town Chania. As well as being comfortable, quiet and spotlessly clean, guests are served by a lovely, friendly and always helpful staff and top class service. Breakfasts were an occasion too and WE ARE GOING TO BE... More

I Stayed in this lovely hotel from Sept. 8 - 10, 2015. Upon arriving at Chania (It's really pronounced Hania) I rented a car and head to the town. It took me a little bit of time to find the hotel street (the hotel it's very closed to Agora Marketplace) and I stopped to ask for directions .... needless to... More

This was a wonderful little boutique hotel. The manager was great about telling us all our different options. We were within walking distance to everything. Stores, restaurants, attractions. They had a breakfast with a variety of food. I would definitely stay there again!

If you appreciate a quality, small hotel with character and great staff, this is for you. It is a beautifully restored traditional piece of architecture, but offers every comfort and facility to today's guests. Michalis is the owner and he is an authority on the history of Chania and has great enthusiasm for his heritage building, which he has so... More

We arrived extremely late to Ionas due to a mechanical problem on our ferry from Santorini so the hotel reception was closed. Calling a number on the front door resulted in a very cheerful and accommodating woman coming within minutes to welcome us and show us our room. She said that these problems occur on the ferry and it was... More
