Hotel Marina Sands is a great hotel in Chania. We enjoyed our stay there and we are planning to visit it again next year. The rooms were clean, the breakfast very tasty and the staff very friendly. It was a value for money choice!

we stayed in marina hotel 3 nights and we were delighted! The hotel had seaview , was clean and the people who worked there were very friendly! The hotel provides swimming pool, aircondition 24hours reception and water sports! We made us mad the sunset you just adore it!

The hotel is located next to the most expensive hotel in Agia Marina called Thalessa, which says a whole bunch about the location! Quiet close to Platanias(10 min walk). The hotel itself is very nice and feels just like Greece! The breakfast isn't the best I've had but quiet good for the price you pay. Just across the street there... More

Location on the beach, and decent rooms. Pool undersized (20 sunbeds to service 60 rooms/120 persons). Sunbeds are also available at the beach for 5€. You get the feeling that the hotel actualy has thought this through :) Do not ask the reception of anything unless you are satisfied with excuses and non performance. They anoy your requsests. To me... More

I do not know about stars that "Marina sands" actually have, but it really doesn't matter. Hotel is decent and only problem are the rocks on the beach which make entrance to the see little bit tricky! Our room was nice, we heard that some rooms are smaller and it depends on whether room is on basement or 1-floor and... More

Hotel Marina Sands is a decent hotel; nothing special but for 2+ star hotel I can say that the value for money is good...try to avoid our former room (No 14) since we had small flooding in our restroom every day due to water tank which was leaking. Apart from that, cleaning ladies did a good job and our room... More

The hotel looks very traditional on the street, with its white-coloured buildings and royal blue doors, like something out of Santorini. The staff at reception weren't the friendliest people in the world, however they still helped with whatever you needed. The hotel backs onto the beach of Agia Marina, which looks lovely from the shore, however is actually not the... More
