Stayed for 2 nights in August. Tasteful newly renovated hotel. Good location in old town. Not too handy if you have a car but parking is still possible. Rooms nice size, comfortable bed and good variety for breakfast. Staff very helpful and friendly. Really enjoyed our stay there. Will definitely go back. more

A small boutique hotel in the Turkish quarter of Chania, Splanzia is a welcome 5 minute walk from the main bustling tourist area. With nice rooms, an excellent breakfast, it is good value at E85 (incl breakfast). It is but 100m from the highly reputed restaurant "Well of the Turk" which, I'm afraid, I thought was well overrated. more

The hotel owners are so friendly that make you feel like home. The back yard for breakfast is the best thing of this hotel. Breakfast is homemade and it is just perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Splanzia. This is a newly opened (July 2006), small, family run hotel. As you enter you're greeted with an elegant lobby and dining area, and toward the back is a charming inner courtyard. The rooms are attractive, with pretty drapes and furniture, comfortable beds. You will not be disappointed! This hotel is stylish, comfortable and only a few mintes walk from the harbour. Equally important, we were made to feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. It was truly a delight to stay here and we shall return. more
