Great place to stay in Chania . 5 minutes to walk to the hearth of the OldTown and 5 minutes to walk to the Nea Chora beach and great fish tavernas nearby. Rooms are clean and basic, but You have all You need:good bed, not bad bathroom, air conditioning, fridge and TV. Breakfast is better, than in many greek hotels:with eggs, yoghurt,... More

It was a really nice hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We asked in the reception about which places to visit and everything she suggested was excellent! Our room didn't have sea view, but the hotel is situated close to the Chania center, so this was not a problem. Simple and clean rooms, with a typical breakfast.

The hotel is on a super location in Chania. Very close to the beach and the lovely old town. The rooms are clean and simple with a nice balcony. Breakfast is simple as well. The service could be better. We had some trouble with our car rental via the hotel, but they weren't very friendly and patiently in solving that.... More

Hotel is quite close to center of Hania. Room was clean, bathroom was very small so that made showering a bit difficult; also the equipment in bathroom was not settled well. I had also doubts about safety - the door lock did not look like it is locked well. Receptionist was in a very bad mood, when we were leaving.... More

Hotel Irene is a lovely hotel conveniently located within walking distance of the Old Town and one of the main beaches, Nea Chora. It is simple, clean, inexpensive, serves a good breakfast and the neighbourhood is quiet.

The hotel is in an excellent location outside the city walls within a short walk from the old quarter and Neo Hora beach. The room and bathroom (usual dodgy Greek hand held shower) were basic and small - but good for a short stay. At €30 per night with an extra €5 for breakfast (for both of us) it was... More

The rooms are the usual basic Greek hotel rooms, the bathrooms could do with an upgrade as the tiles were loose but both were clean. The price we paid included A/C and breakfast, so for 150 euros for 5 nights we thought this a bargain price. The hotel is within a 2 minute walk of the Old Town, you can... More

Hotel Irene, Chania. Nice Little hotel, 5 mins walk from Chania harbourfront. On a quit Little sideway, you will enjoy the Peace and quitnes on the balkony. Its a hotel, without disco, YES, you can get breakfast, for a small amount. There is a good and solid service. And you meet employés, that help you with your needs, and questions.... More

Good location close to the old town. Good value but the main drawback is the echo chamber stairwell which runs through all floors without any separating doors. So you will be woken by the staff in the kitchen and the cleaners; not to mention guests. Wifi didn't work most of the time except near reception
