We stayed here in late 2013 after having spent a few days in Athens. We'd come to expect nice views from Greece and this was no exception. The views offered from our balcony were exactly as you'd want and we greatly enjoyed having our breakfast here every morning (we stayed in the apartment so took care of breakfast ourselves). The... This time we had a late vacation and came here the last week of the season. We had one of the top apartments which was very nice, and had a great view. Candia is a very small hotel, and gives a great and very personal service. Manager Dimitra is always read to help you. Breakfast is good, WiFi is good,... More

We booked a Penthouse apartment at a 1 star hotel and did not expect to much. But the apartment was perfect and was newly renovated, with a nice bathroom with a great "view". Very helpfull staff. We ate at Taverna Strata and Portes, also two great restaurants. We will be back for sure. We did not see the other apartment... More

I stayed a couple of nights in Chania, and i really enjoyed my stay at Candia Hotel. I was upgraded from a studio appartment to the suite at the top of the hotel, faboulus view and quietness. Breakfast is served in a cosy garden.

My husband and I spent 16 days in Crete at the end of the summer. We picked this destination because we equally love the sea and the mountains and Crete has both. Being the first trip on this island, we decided on our itinerary before leaving, took notes about public transport and booked our rooms in advance. Once there, all... More

Hotel Candia is slightly out of Chania Old Town but that adds rather than detracts from its success. It is 50m from Chania beach which is a pleasure before and after a long hot day. It is also a stone's throw from many lovely local sea-front restaurants and only a 10 min sea front walk into the old town. It... More

We stayed three nights here. Very comfortable very close to the beach and local restaurants and an easy walk along the shore to the Venetian port and old town. Our air conditioned apartment has two balconies with sea views, a kitchenette and living area and a largish bedroom with bathroom attached. The staff here are warm and helpful people it... More

The room was very nice, clean and confortable. The organization of breakfast can be improved but the breakfast itself was very good (self service). The studio hotel is in Candia city and, in the case, I will return.

Stayed here 2 nights in September 2013. Very affordable. Close to Nea Chora beach and walking distance to old town. Owners are fabulous, help you book tours and give advice on things to do and buy in Chania. As a solo female traveller felt safe, comfortable and welcomed from the moment I stepped into Candia hotel.
