We stayed at Villa Venezia for 3 days in July. As others have written the view from the room over the port is amazing. The central location is very convenient. Also, the hosts Natalia and Dimetri are very helpful. They responded promptly to emails and were very eager to help with advice and information. We were there during quite hot... More

This small, low-priced hotel is situated above a restaurant right on the Venetian Harbour. If you want the most amazing view to wake up from, a comfortable bed in a quirky 500-year-old building, then you will love it. Natasha runs the place with great attention to detail. We stayed for one night, en route to Western Crete. Would recommend for... More

Villa Venezia has the unbeatable central location at the Venetian Port, you must get a seaview room, the view is absolutely stunning, I could just lie in the bed watching the glow of sunrise and sunset reflecting to the buildings from two sides of port, truly amazing. Given this is a building over 450 years, the room size is not... More

The owners contacted us prior to our booking to find out when we'd be arriving. They were there when we arrived and checked us in quickly. The room was very small but adequate. We arrived late at night so we got straight out and explored the town. We fell in love with Chania almost immediately. We were awoken the next... More

Excellent value for money!! This hotel is right in the heart of the old harbour and our room had the most amazing view! We got free wifi and were able to check in the moment we got there! Simple accommodation but at a great price!

excellent location and amazing view of the old harbour. we booked our room two days before travelling, in an affordable price (about 35€/ night at the 20th of august). average room, kind of noisy, not very clean but acceptable for its price.

My second visit to Villa Venezia did not disappoint for excellent value for money in a great location. Immaculately clean, simple accommodation at a great price. Situated at the heart of the old town with rooms looking directly over the lovely old Venetian harbour, you just leave the hotel by the back door and straight away are amongst the hustle... More

Stayed two nights at Villa Venezia after a week long trip driving around Crete. Was a fantastic spot, right on the harbour with a great view. Chania is a great little city, it was really nice to spend a couple of days just wandering around the old town, which was a nice way to relax after a week of driving.... More

This hotel, although old is clean and centrally situated. It is right on the harbour in the old town and the view from the room is fabulous. Nadi (the owner) was very helpful with advice on restaurants and places to visit. We took the Chania bus tour which does give you an idea of some of Chania's history and size... More
