It was a really nice, authentic, traditional style place and was extremely clean and always *immaculately* kept. The staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. My family of 4 stayed at the Amphora hotel for 2 nights in September. We could not have had a better experience. The hotel sits right on the waterfront. Our room (#11) had a small balcony with a beautiful view of Chania harbor. The entire hotel is spotless, and the staff extremely friendly and attentive. The price is very reasonable... more

The Amphora hotel is a traditional style hotel right on the harbour front with excellent views. It is recommended that you try and book one of the harbour view rooms, preferably a quiet one at the top. Rooms are clean, well furnished, have good air conditioning.
