Extremely Rude Staff - Horrible experince Chipped paintwork and furniture, grotty kitchen cabinets, down at heel bathroom that needs the grout cleaning and the shower head de scalin. Desperately disappointing hotel.

The rooms are old constructed and the bathroom especially is very old (reminds decade 1980)!!!! The parking is serious problem in this hotel. You need to leave your car outside because there is no space in the hotel parking. In the reception you have to wait because the stuff is not there all the time to help you In my... More

Nice hotel with a good pool area and ok restaurant and pool bar. Clean and spacious rooms in something like a Cardamom Town style design. Friendly and well managed. The area is not well established, but you may find good spots and more relaxed areas. Good value for families, but you might consider having a car available during your stay.

we stayed at futura on a short stay trip. the apartment was a very nice size for two people, with two balconies. very clean and fresh, with just a few minor minuses with the appliances. staff friendly and helpful. we had just one meal, which i would call average tourist food. nice complex with small but nice pool area -... We have recently returned from a fantastic week at the Futura in Chania. Accommodation was superb extremely clean very modern and well maintained every aspect of the complex was spotless. Rooms cleaned everyday towels changed every other day. The owners Georgina and Eric together with their sons Jonathan and Nicholas were brilliant - the boys ran the bar and at... More

we've been at futura during 28/09/2013 till 06/10/2013, first of all i'd like to say that Mrs, Giorgina, the receptionist, is just LOVELY, she will always ready to help you on everything you need for with her lovely smile, all the staff from the bar to the market were really helpfull and friendly, now, talking about the hotel, the complex... This hotel is certainly not what it appears on the web site. Every chance they get to make money out of you is taken. Even though we were all inclusive it was extra for air conditioning, extra for wi fi, extra for tea or coffee, etc, etc. the drinks are awful and all watered down. Breakfast was the same every... Lovely hotel complex,we stayed a week but we did find it expensive on site which is normalized. The bus route wasn't the same as the time table in reception but I think that's just the Crete way. the rooms we cleaned every day with a good standard. The staff were helpful and welcoming especially the bar team when we arrived... More

Just got off the plane from Chsnia and want to say what a beautiful place the Futura is. As you enter, it feels like a 1930s Hollywood set with stylish Art Deco architecture arranged in a village style setting. Immaculately maintained and run by a lovely friendly Greek/South African family. We has emailed a particular room request, and had an... More
