we stayed at futura on a short stay trip. the apartment was a very nice size for two people, with two balconies. very clean and fresh, with just a few minor minuses with the appliances. staff friendly and helpful. we had just one meal, which i would call average tourist food. nice complex with small but nice pool area -... We have recently returned from a fantastic week at the Futura in Chania. Accommodation was superb extremely clean very modern and well maintained every aspect of the complex was spotless. Rooms cleaned everyday towels changed every other day. The owners Georgina and Eric together with their sons Jonathan and Nicholas were brilliant - the boys ran the bar and at... More

we've been at futura during 28/09/2013 till 06/10/2013, first of all i'd like to say that Mrs, Giorgina, the receptionist, is just LOVELY, she will always ready to help you on everything you need for with her lovely smile, all the staff from the bar to the market were really helpfull and friendly, now, talking about the hotel, the complex... This hotel is certainly not what it appears on the web site. Every chance they get to make money out of you is taken. Even though we were all inclusive it was extra for air conditioning, extra for wi fi, extra for tea or coffee, etc, etc. the drinks are awful and all watered down. Breakfast was the same every... Lovely hotel complex,we stayed a week but we did find it expensive on site which is normalized. The bus route wasn't the same as the time table in reception but I think that's just the Crete way. the rooms we cleaned every day with a good standard. The staff were helpful and welcoming especially the bar team when we arrived... More

Many things are excluded on the all inclusive: Pay for Air conditioning Pay for WI-FI Pay for all drinks after 10 pm Pay an extra charge for bed sheets to be changed daily Apart from tea and coffee you are allowed at breakfast - you have to pay for tea and coffee throughout the day. The drinks on the all... More

Just got off the plane from Chsnia and want to say what a beautiful place the Futura is. As you enter, it feels like a 1930s Hollywood set with stylish Art Deco architecture arranged in a village style setting. Immaculately maintained and run by a lovely friendly Greek/South African family. We has emailed a particular room request, and had an... More

I think the hotel website was misleading and painted a picture of the perfect holiday resort. Having read through previous reviews, was I in the same hotel? Firstly, I found one of the staff members too over friendly with some inappropriate comments. Also I found his attitude appalling when explaining that the "all inclusive" wasn't actually all inclusive. He wasn't... More

Very clean and great rooms. Maids came in daily and towels changed twice a week. A little shop that's sells basic items, limited choice of alcohol, cigarettes, sun creams and gifts. It's quite pricey, so buy all essentials before you go. We went all inclusive and was very disappointed. Although the food was of high standard, you had to have... More
