Our experience at Hotel Bozalli was absolutely wonderful. The location of this hotel was perfect. It is just a block from the main square of Chania town, and the harbor is a short 5 minute walk. We stayed here from 2 nights, and it was a perfect base to explore the old town of Chania. Our host, Antonio was super... More

Bozzali is perfectly located just off the main tourist street in Chania. We were in Chania in August 2013. We easily walked the 2 short blocks to the main tourist area but were also lucky enough to be close to where the locals eat. The narrow alleys filled with restaurants, cafes and stores are wonderful. Chania is a combination of... More

We stayed for two nights in August and it was one of the nicest places we ever stayed in Crete. Clean, charming and romantic. The food in the restaurant is to die for : home made pasta, generous portions and lovely italian wine. Breakfast is basic, but HEALTHY. Antonio is really friendly.

We have just returned from a week spent at this lovely hotel. On arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome by Antonio the owner, who throughout our stay was on hand to assist with any requests etc.Yes there was some form of construction going on opposite the hotel and there was some noise, however it didnt spoil our stay.We stayed in... Great town, but there was confusion re correlation with previous reviews and what I experienced. The hotel is seriously(!!) noisy, with a construction site literally a few metres outside the hotel, and the loud booming/drilling noise going 12 hours a day. Room OK - but very small TV, low water pressure, loud air conditioning, and lots of noise coming from... More

Somewhat misled by reviews on TA. The place was very noisy in the morning. The building sounded like it would collapse when people went up and down the stairs and you could here the occupants of the adjacent rooms speaking through the walls; sleeping past 9 was not really an option. I'd say the place was somewhat overpriced comparing it... More

Nicely presented room - but so noisy. There's a construction site - with a sky-high industrial digger/excavator right outside the hotel, and the noise goes from 7 am - 7 pm. See photos. In addition, there is the unusual embedded staircase as part of the bathroom's wall (see previous posting's picture), which means you can hear people's shoes clip-clopping up... More

as we have said in person, sorry again for the noise. it was really hard to bear: the only thing we could do was not to sell our more exposed rooms (and it was not an easy choice). Luckily the nightmare is over and we will start again to try and improve antonio More

The hotel is located in a great area, right down the street from the markets and old harbor. We were disappointed by the service, however. Other than the owner bringing our luggage up the stairs to our room, he did not do much to help. We asked for directions to a specific restaurant and he sent us to the wrong... More

poor boys...they had to leave their hi-something and walk around our dirty mediterranean town looking for a restaurant...the tv was smal for a big room...the air condition with open windows and 20 celsius outside was not working...we are really so sorry. as for the cheese we will pass the negative criticism to our shepherd friend More

Antonio is an excellent person and the owner of the hotel! The room was big and clean the bed actually double and in general we had a great time there :) Also is actually in the in the heart of Chania, to go to harbor is 5 minutes by foot and there you can find different restaurants and also GOOD... Excellent hotel, with some nice and warm rooms where you feel like home. The place is charming, a renovate traditionnal house within the town of Chania, just a few meters from the harbor and the main attractions of the city. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the breakfast is just delicisous, full of Cretian products and fresh juice. The... More
