What more can I add to all the enthusiastic reviews of Villa Andromeda? My daughter and I have just returned from a week in this beautiful villa with its views of the sea and Chania. The tranquil garden with swimming pool, vine-covered arbour, fragrant jasmine and stephanotis, along with the wonderful personal service, are really special. Such a refreshing change... More

Excellent in every way, lovely staff, good location, beautiful rooms, beautiful building, delicious breakfast, clean pool. It's a very small hotel with a very personalised service. It's a fair walk into chania town so probably most people staying will have a car.

You do need a car to take advantage of everything this elegant and comfortable villa provides since it is about a kilometre from Chania and has its own dedicated car park. You need very exact directions to find that park: just email to find out. That said, you could not ask for a better location. Built in 1870 and meticulously... More

The Villa Andromeda is a unique and wonderful place to stay in Chania. It is located on a cliff about a kilometre and a half from the centre of Chania Old Town, with a wonderful view of the sea. The villa is a 19th century mansion, retaining all the graciousness of its history, and elegantly decorated to provide modern comfort.... More

Just returned from a weeks stay at Villa Andromeda and had a wonderful time. The staff were friendly and very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They arranged a hire car for us and suggested places for us to visit. They suggested excellent places to eat in Chania town. The breakfast on the balcony each morning was a delight with... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel for 4 days (July 2014). Language was not an issue. They spoke English and Greek. The service we received from Barbara, Athena (Owner) and the service personnel was outstanding in every way and very helpful. They made us feel right at home the minute we walked in. Someone was always at the... More

This is located on the coast a short walk from the centre of Chania town. The walk in to town is really enjoyable - past a great row of beachside cafe's where locals seemed to sit all day. It is close enough to the centre of Chania but far enough away to give you some relief from the hustle and... More

We wish we could have stayed longer than two nights at Villa Andromeda, both so that we could explore Chania in more depth, but also so that we could enjoy our beautifully restored two-level suite. Barbara and Athena were a terrific help, attentive to every need and request. The remaining staff was also sweet and helpful. The 15- to 20-minute... More

We had a wonderful stay here. The view was magnificent: we are delicious breakfasts and watched sunsets on the balcony overlooking the sea. We cooled off every day in the pool located in the lovely garden. It was quiet yet a reasonable walk to many interesting places. Athena, the owner, and Barbara were both very helpful and the rest of... More

My wife and i travelled with our 10 year old grandson to Chania, Greece. The initial arrangements were made by Fantasy Travel in Athens. Their selection of Villa Andromeda for our Chania stay could not have been a better choice for us. Barbara and Athena, the owner, were very helpful in helping us to get our bearings in Chania.
