We have just returned from a week in the stunning Almyrida. Almyrida is a lovely quiet family resort. The Almyrida Beach sits adjacent to the 5 star Almyrida resort where you have breakfast. The hotel is next to the stunning beach. A good tip is to walk either to the left or right of the hotel as here the water... more

I saw ths hotel on an independent website where it was described as a 5 star boutique hotel. Now I know that 5 star is a variable term and boutique really means nothing at all but the impression was that this was something out of the ordinary and a real treat. First the good points. The area is a quaint-ish... more

Amazed at this hotel getting a bad review. What total rubbish. Our son got married in Crete in June of this year and the reception was held in the roof garden of the new part of the hotel. To say it was perfect is an understatement. The friendly staff and the owners themselves were fantastic. We have a second home... more

I too disagree with mdke's review. The Almyrida Beach is immaculate, meticulously cleaned inside and out every day, the rooms are very good and spacious, with free efficient and quiet aircon, and the bathroom was topnotch for Greece since it included both a bath and an excellent shower. Soap was replaced as used, two of the four towels (which were... more

The first thing I would point out is that I was simply stunned by the previous review of this place. Its lone castigation of this property and resort is testimony to its inaccuracy. The previous reviews are very accurate and helpful, and I will try not to repeat what was in them. The hotel is effectively two separate hotel blocks... more

This was the most disappointing hotel we have stayed in. We booked 10 days there last September, and were looking forward to it, particularly having seen plenty of positive reviews on Tripadvisor. Unfortunately we were disappointed as soon as we arrived, and by the following morning we decided that we couldn't stay any longer and left the hotel and Almyrida... more

The hotel The Almyrida Beach Hotel is a three-storey hotel situated beside a concrete parking area placed over a summer-dry river bed. It’s just a stone’s throw from the beach. Breakfast runs from 7:30 to 10, dinner from 7 to 9, both of which are good quality and plentiful. There is a good swimming pool and a bar, open from... more

We were there for a week last September. Been meaning to add a review because I find the reviews so helpful myself! Excellent value for money - huge room with balcony & sea view, big bathroom and half board for about £300 between us (via freedomdirect). All staff were delightful and helpful, the maids had a laugh folding the towels... more

Our experience in this hotel was amazing! It was much better than we expected. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable, decoration is very nice and the hotel is always very clean. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. The beach is just in front of the hotel and is lovely. Meals were always very good, with plenty... more

Like the previous holidaymakers we stayed in the newer part of this hotel called the Alymirida Residence. The hotel was of a minimalist design in contrast to the older wing of the hotel which is more classically furnished. All the staff were helpful, especially on main reception and in the bar areas. Our room had plenty of space and the excellent... more
