The hotel is in a fantastic location of Chania, just 2 minutes away from everything. The owner, Sophia, is very friendly and made me feel at home! My room was great value - not luxurious, but it had all I wanted - comfy bed, hot water - and more (a kettle!)

We booked rooms in this lodging on the Internet, because we liked both the sea view and the location. But we were surprised when we saw the room. A not very clean, small room, with curtains half pulled down . Hardly any pegs to hang up clothes or towels; hardly any shelves to put things on, no wardrobe facilities. All... More

A family-run business in a beautiful 12th century building, we got a room on the first floor with a view of the sea. Excellent value and excellently hosted! (Our friendly host waited up until we arrived until 12:30AM with shots of their local alcohol, as our flight into Chania airport was delayed.) Check-out time was flexible. A short (and beautiful)... Even though we booked and payed a deposit weeks in advance of our stay we were told they were full. I guess, to her credit, Sofia arranged alternative accommodation and payed the difference for our first night. However after this inconvenience we decided to continue staying at the alternative accommodation. Reading other reviews it would seem that this is common... More

Booked 2 nights here via hostelbookers..arrived 10pm first night only to be told full (depsite booking +deposit) and would find somewhere else for us...we had planned to catch 615am bus so werent keen on moving further away from busstop...night 2 same situation, our backup accomodation was also full so we were relocated again. Very time consuming. Reassured we'd be given... More

The hotel is very close to the center of Hania, and has a great view out the window. The owner was wonderful, very friendly, but the hotel felt like it could do with some attention. It didn't seem very clean, and advertised parking but really was just a small area on a tight road which took a long time to... More

This hotel was relatively cheap, however i've stayed places that were much nicer and cleaner for the same amount of money or cheaper. The beds were good, and it was safe, however the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages and the shower was basically just a handheld shower head over the tiled floor next to the toilet.... This is my third time in Chania and I have stayed at multiple properties but I have finally hit the jackpot! You simply can't find a better place to stay in this price range (great prices) near Chania's Venetian port. Sofia, the owner, is so friendly and welcoming and bent over backwards to accommodate me and make me comfortable. The... More

Maybe is not the most beautiful room you could get there and it is a bit old but... It is very important this but because we are talking about an overall. Me and my girlfriend booked room there and we sent a message explaining that our flight was going to land nearly at 24 o'clock. The problem is that you... More

Well, what to say...it was a bit scary but house made in twelfth century...we were in no redecorated room and bathroom, very bad higiane, need a new towels without spots or what.... The only thing is good is Sofia, she is nice and friendly but thay should to invest a lot to make it decently for rent and still not to change price..
