We recently spent 6 nights at the Palazzo di Pietro & would highly recommend the hotel to anyone wanting to stay somewhere that little bit special in Chania. At the risk of repeating other reviewers comments, Christine & her father make this hotel a great place to stay. From the delightful (award winning!) rooftop terrace to the very generous fully... more

I've been meaning to write a review for quite some time about this hotel. My wife and I spent part of our honeymoon here in 2005 and it was wonderful! This was especially due to the hard work of Christine who did everything in her power to ensure that our stay was perfect. A wonderful hostess! more

The Palazzio di Pietro lived up to all its previous reviews and my daughter and I had a wonderful stay. It couldn't be in a better, more peaceful location, close to the beautiful old Venetian harbour with its restaurants spilling out on to the pavement and within a stones throw of ancient, narrow, picturesque alleys of the old town, bustling... more

It's difficult to add new things to say about Christine and the Palazzo di Pietro. But we had such a wonderful, relaxed week here in September that we felt we had to add to the reviews. Her hospitality is exceptional - her every wish is that you have the best stay possible in this lovely place and she takes every... more

We stayed at the Palazzo di Pietro from 22nd-29th May and wished it had been for longer! Christina is an excellent hostess and a never-ending source of useful information during your stay. The Palazzo is delightful in every way and the little extra touches like fruit, chocolates and champagne in your room, and the beautiful roof terrace, made the stay... more

Having read so many glowing reviews of the Palazzo di Pietro, my partner Brian and I were happy to find that it lived up to our expectations in every way. Christina Bitzanakis and her family have renovated this beautiful old venetian palazzo with such love and attention to detail. Our room, 'Artemis', spacious and spotlessly clean, was fitted with quality... more

We had an absolutely fantastic time in Crete last summer and I'm so sorry it's taken this long to post our review! Having done so I now want to go back again for this summer and the next and probably the next... Where to start? I'll give you the shortened version. The Palazzo is an absolute gem of a hotel... more

I should have written this review months ago, as my husband and I stayed here during part of our honeymoon back in August 2006! We had a wonderful stay in Palazzo's honeymoon suite. It was very clean and welcoming, and every detail was paid attention to. Christine, the hostess, was very helpful and friendly, and speaks perfect english. We also... more

We stayed at Palazzo di Pietro for seven days at the end of October for our honeymoon. We could not have picked a better place to spend the middle part of our trip. We stayed in the top floor honeymoon suite which was very nicely decorated with flower petals on the bed when we arrived. After settling in, we spent... more

The hotel is filled with Old World Charm. It's definitely more of a B&B than a Hotel. Service is friendly, although I understand those who say it is TOO friendly as it is difficult to get in and out without talking with Christine. But on the positive end, she found us the cheapest car rentals (she even arranged it so... more
