We visited the hotel at July and we stayed 4 nights in total ! Our stay was absolutely great the hotel was very clean and spacious and the hotel staff was very helpfull when we asked for some tips. Also we book the room through www.airlineticketsnow.com and because of that we got a really cheap price that made our stay... More

Love the city of Chania but this hotel is an utter disappointment. Dirty, in need of renovation, smelly, a disgusting breakfast with dirty mugs, brown stains on the towels, tiny single beds, paper thin walls etc. No redeeming features whatsoever.

Really friendly staff, not top of the notch hotel, but all in all a nice average hotel, could need an upgrade but with a really forthcoming staff, location for business is pretty good, if for vacation I would like it to be a bit closer to the Beach

I've been travelling a lot, but in a hotel like this I've never stayed before: the cordiality of the staff, the professionalism of each person in Akali hotel make you think that good manner and hospitality are really the best way to describe Chania. The breakfast was excellent, everyday something new, continental and local products for you to discover the... More

We've been for four nights in Chania for holidays and we had a very good time in the city and at Akali hotel. It is very well located in the city, close to the bus station and to the port, staff is very nice and very helpfull (thanks to Stella and Annita), the room was clean and the food for... More

Although our room was quite ordinary, and the shower was rudimentary, we enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would recommend it to others. It was very easy to find, even driving in at night on our first day in Crete, as you just have to stay on the same street once you leave the national road. It had free... More

We had to stay here because our flight was cancelled and the airline put us up here. We were thankful for the room but it was of a very poor standard. Once we opened the door we were greeted by a very bad smell which remined in our room all during our stay. The air con unit was also very... More

I asked in the hotel for a quiet room and they gave me a room with an internal door connected with another room...I couldn't sleep because of the noise, they said Internet was working in the rooms finally it wasn't. At the breakfast when the waiter came to offer me filter coffee I asked for another kind and the answer... More

Lovely hotel, a short stroll from everywhere you would want to go. A little old fashioned but spotlessly clean and with the most friendly and helpful staff. Thanks especially to Gina and Alex for their wonderful company, but all the staff without exception were friendly and could not gave been more helpful. Excellent buffet breakfast every morning with a huge... More

The hotel is a bit old but the rooms are clean, big and comfortable. We had a big pool view balcony. The hotel is 15 minutes away to the old city and closest beach and 10 minutes to the terminal bus station for beaches by walking. Breakfast was nice and there were a lot of options. It was a good...
