The Palazzo Duca is brilliantly positioned one street back from the central point of the harbour. It is both quiet and convenient for the restaurants, bars and shops of Chania. The hotel is spotlessly clean and decorated to a very high standard. The quality of the bedding is excellent. I must also mention how delightful and friendly the staff are.... More

We spent four nights at the Palazzo Duca, which is in the old town set just back from the harbour. It is decorated to a good standard, comfortable beds and quality bedding. Our room had a small kitchenette with sufficient equipment to self cater if you were that way inclined but you will need to provide everything else including coffee,... More

Very caring staff, location is so romantic. Room was lovely, very clean and chic. Had balcony with our room but also roof terrace which is amazing. Walking distance to port, shops and restaurants. Streets all around are very traditional.

We choose this hotel mostly because of its position but it turned out to be an excellent choice. They offered us a larger room than we booked which was great for us. The room was comfortable with a small kitchen area, a cosy bed and plenty of storage space. This room did lack a view and had limited natural light... More

We spent four days in this small boutique hotel. Very clean. The hotel location is perfect as it is located in walking distance from all city attractions. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a la card. We could choose and order what we wanted- try the sfakiani pitta. I will definitely come back.

When on holiday last year we passed by this hotel and had a look in. Decided to stay here this year and it was an excellent choice. George, the owner, spent a great deal of time modernising this old building while keeping a really nice traditional feel to the building. It looks, fresh and welcoming with some original features preserved... More

We love this place, nestled in a quiet alleyway in the old town, just a stone throw from the harbour and good eateries (we like Tamam), this place has great staff and a fabulous breakfast spread. I have to say they make some of the best coffees in Crete! The rooms are tastefully decorated, pastel colours, stylish wooden furniture and... More

A great hotel at a fabulous location in the Old city of Chania. George, the manager and/or owner, was very welcoming. A beautiful shared patio on the roof makes for a great location for a hearty breakfast (only 6€ at time of writing) or to eat take out or self-catered food at night to get away from the hoards of... This charming hotel has an unbeatable location- walking distance to the lovely old town port, a bunch of restaurants and shops, and about a 7 minute walk to the bus station. We have tried three different rooms in this property, and our favorite is the Junior Suite with a patio. It was just the right room size for a couple.... More
