The hotel has 3* but for sure deserve 4*. The rooms are big, nice terrace, bathroom is very modern. The garden is very beautiful and very large. They have 2 swimming pool. The food is average, but you can not expect for more at a 3* hotel. The service of the hotel are very good, free wi-fi in all the... More

We spent a week at Althea Village in the period 25 June-2 July and it was our best holiday. The first thing I really loved was their garden, there are a lot of flowers and trees; it's a really relaxing place. Also the location of the hotel is just great. It's not on the main street were is all the... More

Myself and my son spent a week in the Althea Village Hotel for a week. The main reason we were there was to go a Greek wedding in the hills, so we needed a hotel which was close. We went for all inclusive, as it worked out cheaper than booking a separately for a few days. Once we arrived at... More

Just back from a week at Althea Village - we were 4 "mature" women friends, sharing a two bed duplex apartment. We had a great holiday and would highly recommend, but accept that it might not be for everyone depending on what's important to you. We loved the comfortable beds, efficient modern showers, free air con (although we didn't use it)... More

We spent a week at the Althea Village Hotel from the 8th - 15th October 2013 and had a great time. I looked for ages for all inclusive accommodation that was either a villa or apartment style and eventually found Althea village at an amazing price through alpharooms. After looking at the reviews on tripadvisor we booked up. There were... More

This hotel is family run in a suburb of Chania, so it's not totally in a resort. The beach is about 10-15 mins walk away and is a pleasant sandy beach in a bay. There are another two beaches close by, equally nice. The rooms are quite basic, could do with updating but very clean. Shower is modern and works... More

The hotel was very clean and tidy with lovely gardens and two excellent pools with plenty of chairs and sun loungers. The staff were not overly helpful nor friendly, maybe it was getting close to the end of the season. The restaurant manager was quite grumpy. The food was ok but very often luke warm rather than hot.The bath and shower was... More

Typical village style hotel, rather dated but with good clean airy rooms, 2 pools and good layout. Staff were excellent and rooms cleaned every day except sunday. Board basis varied from self catering to full board. As half board we found the food typical of a greek hotel with a continental style breakfast and meat fish and pasta main courses... More

What a wonderful stay we had, everything about the place was just wonderful, the beautiful gardens, the pool, the facilities and the staff. The attention to detail was evident everywhere and the staff were genuinely pleased to have us there and bent over backwards to accomodate our every need. We are definitely going to go again.

We had a lovely family holiday ( 2 adults, 2 teenagers) at this quiet and pretty hotel. We went all inclusive and apart from breakfast which was very busy and hot if you couldn't get an undercover seat, we couldn't fault the lovely selection of hot and cold food. There was no entertainment but we wanted a quiet holiday and... More
