Great location near the Venetian harbor. Clean room with enclosed shower and fridge. My room a small balcony with 2 chairs and a table. Could see the ocean at the end of the street. Great spot for reading. Did not experience the fabulous Anastasia. Staff were courteous, but not what I'd call friendly. Still a great place to stay. Wifi... more

Nice rooms in lovely old building on the edge of the old town. It is a quiet location but only a step away from the harbour, shops and tavernas as well as being well placed for free parking in Talo Square. Some rooms have balconies looking over the street (and harbour) and the free WiFi was a bonus. With a... more

First of all, I have to tell you about Anastasia. Her family owns the Palazzo Hotel and she went out of her way to make sure my stay in Chania was top notch. I was traveling solo and she made time to sit and chat in the evenings before I went out. She's a great listener and takes a true... more

After getting married on Santorini, we went to Chania to continue our honeymoon. What a lovely place. The Hotel Palazzo is a quaint old building right near all the "action", but still just a bit off to be quiet enough. The room we had was very large for most European hotels I've been in and the balcony was really cute.... more

When you enter Hotel Palazzo you are entering a gracious, excellently maintained, serene atmosphere. It is on a narrow, charming, pedestrian street just up from the port parking and close to the fortress. It is on the edge of the Old Town, so a quiet location to return to at night. We loved the Old World feel with the gorgeous... more

I think the Palazzo is a little gem in an excellent location for those who value a sense of historic surroundings. A comfortable small hotel has been created in a stone building dating from the period of Venetian rule, located in a quiet street but close to the harbour and an easy walk to the rest of the 'Old Town'.... more

My boyfriend and I stayed here in mid-August. First off, Chania is a lovely place on the water, full of restaurants, shops, old Venetian walls, and other amazing architecture that is wonderful for walking around in a few days. The Palazzo was wonderful because it is in walking distance to everything but on a quieter side street that has a... more

This was an excellent find. The location of the hotel is perfect. Very near the harbour, in the old venetian part of Chania. It is also away from the most bustling and noisy parts of the city, and is within walking distance of the bus station (10 mins) and all the shopping areas (1 min). The staff are beyond friendly.... more

My husband and I stayed in this hotel in the last few days in May and highly recommend it. It is a renovated hotel in a very old building in a beautiful quiet street around from the busy port area. The hotel is not far from a beach, many restaurants and lovely shops with beautiful arts, craft and jewellery. The... more

We loved our stay at this small palazzo! The rooms were very clean with high ceilings, wide pine floors, and balcony with table and chairs overlooking the small narrow street below. The views to the right were of the ocean and the views to the left were of the mountains. The bathroom was very small but nice and clean. The... more
