We recently spent four nights at this hotel. From the moment we checked in until our departure we received friendly, helpful service from the owner and staff. As the former British Embassy, it had a charm and aura that reflected a different time in history. The current owners have restored the property and take pride in maintaining its stateliness. Our... We found Halepa hotel a good place to stay, we spent there 4 nights in June 2014. The architecture of the building is very nice and unique, our room was comfortable and very clean. The people are very kind and willing to help for any kind of problems. The breakfast was nice. The position is very good to explore the... More

Arrived at the Halepa hotel for an over night stay on two occasions. My room was very nice with it's wooden flooring. Air cond was fine and quiet. Everything looked immaculately clean, especially the (small) bathroom and the bed sheets with their HH motif, very professional! On my return visit I managed to get the WiFi working, adding the password... More

Stayed with a large group on business trip, room very nice, but air conditioning very poor, room was hot all night, staff very helpful, however, unable to bring breakfast forward by 45 minutes for 35 guests, and then forgot to leave a note for night reception to put out a mini buffet breakfast for same guests. No real menu for... More

We had chosen a "Standard Room" and were quite pleased with the space and lay-out. The room had a spacious feel and high ceiling. It was decorated in an elegant yet basic style. From the website: www.halepa.com, I gather the other categories of rooms are even nicer and more lavish. The hotel's location is good and practical if you have... More

Stayed 3 nights as part of a tour. Lovely old renovated building, large comfortable rooms, however our stay was ruined by the antics of American Army Personnel. First 2 nights came home drunk making a lot of noise, 2nd night worse than first, yelling in corridors, slamming doors at 3am. No noise on third night after complaints made to the... More

This place looks great from the front and the reception area is extremely pleasing but travel to the new wing at the back and it is like walking through a filmset into the yard behind. The rooms in the new wing could not be plainer or less uninspiring and it is incredible to think that the designer got these plans... More

One of the grandest hotels we have ever stayed in. The rooms are very clean, the service excellent. Out of town, but on the no. 11 bus route, near the sea, with excellent rooftop views, especially the sunset. Worth staying at.
