A historic building which has been transformed to a hotel. Very nice location close to the city center but still very quiet. Impressive facade of the building. The check in however very dissapointing with the receptionist very rude trying to cheat us and give us rooms inferior to what we had paid for. It is a pitty having such a... More

Location is very good, quiet and far from the noisy tourist stream but 20 minutes walking from the center. Room was very clean and with plenty of space. We stayed in the new wing and I really liked that the rooms were renewed but keeping the old style look with very comfortable beds. Highly recommended for city travelers. Only disliked... More

I just returned from my stay at Halepa Hotel, Chania town. In a nutshell, facilities and standard hotel amenities were good, nevertheless, no customer focus and no willingness to make up for mistakes! We were supposed to stay for 6 nights, full season in mid August. The first day we arrived, after an exhausting day at the beach, we returned... More

We had 2 nights there. It's a delightful hotel with friendly staff. Free secure parking at the back of the hotel. Lovely buffet breakfast and very good wifi. The 'pool' was disappointing, more like a big spa pool. Nice walk to the old port for meals.

This hotel is clean, really pleasant, and well run. The staff are attentive and always helpful. The location is a short walk from the town centre - but on the plus side it's quiet. The facilities are a bit scarce, but I think that's reflected in the price. I would recommend if you're happy to be a bit away from... More

We recently spent four nights at this hotel. From the moment we checked in until our departure we received friendly, helpful service from the owner and staff. As the former British Embassy, it had a charm and aura that reflected a different time in history. The current owners have restored the property and take pride in maintaining its stateliness. Our... We found Halepa hotel a good place to stay, we spent there 4 nights in June 2014. The architecture of the building is very nice and unique, our room was comfortable and very clean. The people are very kind and willing to help for any kind of problems. The breakfast was nice. The position is very good to explore the... More

Arrived at the Halepa hotel for an over night stay on two occasions. My room was very nice with it's wooden flooring. Air cond was fine and quiet. Everything looked immaculately clean, especially the (small) bathroom and the bed sheets with their HH motif, very professional! On my return visit I managed to get the WiFi working, adding the password... More

Stayed with a large group on business trip, room very nice, but air conditioning very poor, room was hot all night, staff very helpful, however, unable to bring breakfast forward by 45 minutes for 35 guests, and then forgot to leave a note for night reception to put out a mini buffet breakfast for same guests. No real menu for... More
