Returning to Panorama was always a feast for our eyes, this year it was a feast of tastes as well. Their new chef offered awesome Greek dishes. An unexpected event we enjoyed was Thursday's open air barbecue with Greek and European music. Their bridge over the seaside road suited us perfectly whenever we strolled along the beach. Congratulations to the... More

I recently returned from a 2 week stay at the hotel with my partner. We had saved up and spent a lot on our stay here. First impressions on arrival, the hotel decor was cool and airy. The female reception staff who checked us in was not very friendly or at all helpful. No direction as to where anything was... More

just got back from our holidays in Crete, was so looking forward to it, so disappointed, it was a strangley divided hotel, Blue wing, half board and all inclusive, the latter being treated like the very poor relatives, the staff were miserable to say the least, unless they manage to find tippers, and then they couldn't do enough, snack bar... Crete is my favourite Greek Island, So I was so looking forward to my Family week away at this Hotel. I was extremely disappointed right up until the end of my stay. All Inclusive clientèle were treated like second class citizens. This Hotel parades itself as a 4/5* establishment, this can only be said of the views I'm afraid. I... More

My wife and I decided to go somewhere new this year as we usually travel to the Canaries. I "googled" to find the 10 best beaches in the Med and Elafonissi in Crete came up. A little more research of 4* All Inclusive hotels and I came up with the Panorama. I did not book a sea view room and... More

My Father, sister and I have just returned from a week long stay at the Panorama Hotel in Crete. Overall our stay was mediocre at best - the hotel has great potential, but the rude staff amongst other things really let us down. Positive thoughts: • Room cleaners were excellent, room cleaned everyday and the nicely folded towels each day... More

This was our fifth consecutive stay in the Blue Wing of the Panorama & during each stay, we are welcomed back as friends by the fantastic staff at the hotel who make our holiday extra special. Reception, restaurant, bar & Blue wing staff will go out of their way to help you, clearly demonstrated this year in particular by the... More

We stayed in the blue area of the hotel on the lower level. The rooms are spacious, light and airy with the added addition of a lovely canal style pool. This area is very quiet and a place for a really relaxing break. The lounge serves coffee, tea and a selection of cold drinks, cakes and biscuits throughout the day... More

We stayed here in summer 2014 in the executive wing with a poolside room. This was gorgeous and the view was outstanding, rooms were spacious and the poolside area outside the room was quiet and peaceful. The lady that cleaned the rooms was also fabulous and very friendly. The bar area for executive customers was lovely and very clean and... More

Very good for a relaxing all inclusive holiday. Tre restaurant serves very good good, good variety. Especially the breakfast is outstanding. Only negative ting is, that there is No good beach - too many stones. But very good view and pool!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Taken from classical Greek, the hotel’s name Panorama indicates exactly its basic characteristic, which is, its magnificent-all round views of the bay of Chania and the historic islet of Thodorou, just opposite. This exclusive and luxurious beach hotel, built in the early 80’s and totally refurbished during year 2000, is situated 5 Km from the most picturesque town of Crete, Chania and about 20 Km from its international Airport. The famous Samaria Gorge is only 30 Km away, while the spectacular White Mountains of Crete overlooking the green valleys surrounding the hotel. The hotel has only recently been tastefully renovated. Greek island themes, Cretan ceramics and beautiful pastel paint-works combined together, reflect the island’s rich history. The layout consists of a 3-floor main building with 138 rooms, a section for families with 26 rooms and the executive wing of 35 rooms located harmoniously within Panorama’s landscaped gardens in a prime location. ... more   less
