The views from the pool are exceptional, particularly at sunset, and a very romantic setting. The pool and poolside were always busy but plenty of sunbeds for all. The food was ok but very repetative and boring and was a relief to eat out in Chania. The lounge and patio area were comfortably furnished but somewhat jaded. We didn't find... more

We were in Crete for a wedding and stayed at the Panorama for seven nights in a superior sea view room on half board basis. Room was of a good size and very clean. The bar area was large and the drinks were not silly money. The patio/terrace off the bar was nicely furnished and was a nice area to... more

We did research on the reviews in Chania and found them to be about right. The pool is fantastic and it never seemed crowded. The restaurant food is fine, buffet style but the setting is really lovely overlooking the sea and the sunsets. Our room was nice and comfortable with modern furniture med style...overlooking the sea with a small balcony.... more

OK, I stand alone. I hated the Panorama. This was no 4 or 5 star hotel. This is a budget hotel situated far away from the town of Chania, and a good 2 or 3 hours from Herakleion. The tour operator who my travel agent booked us through really oversold this place. I was told by reception that the rack... more

I am a Travel Agent and had read all the reports before I booked this hotel. We stayed in the Panorama Blue adult only wing in a Deluxe Garden Room with Shared Pool. The rooms were large and well furnished. To say this a 5 star property is wrong. There are a few areas which really let this property down...... more

I have brought back happy memories from this hotel as well as a great tan and a big smile! My partner and I booked the hotel purely for its tranquil setting, unique pool and spectacular views. We were not disappointed as we regularly watched the sunset from the bar whilst enjoying a cool drink before dinner. The food is great... more

The hotel has stunning views. The pool area and its surroundings were beautiful., although the pool contained salt water and this was not stated in the details of the hotel. The terrace which we sat on at night was full of comfortable furniture which made it like sitting inside, outside! The room was comfortable and spacious but the use of... more

Being a young couple (34) We planned to spend 2 weeks on the island of Crete (Chania, Rethymnon and Heraclion regions), so we chose PANORAMA for our stay in Chania. Many comments have either condemned or glorified the hotel, but we still looked forward to making it from our own point of view. We booked a double sea-view room, only... more

Well... where to start: This is the first time we have visited Crete, and we loved it. We got a room called Deluxe Garden. It was spacious and had a bunk bed for my two children (11 & 9) My parents had a room in the main block, with a huge balcony. The food was exellent. As one of my... more

We booked our stay at the Panorama hotel through First choice (HALF BOARD BASIS) who were great at making it really easy to sort it all out. ROOMS: The hotel was clean and well presented, the rooms were nice but not really much to comment on decór as it was fairly minimalist although it must be said it did have... more
