Me and my boyfriend spent a week in this hotel, in room 101, which is the room we have complaints about. Maybe the others, on the upper floor are better, we don't know. The decoration was nice, there s nothing to say about that. However the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom have a low ceiling with wood beams, if you... More

Great location in the old harbour, outside its crowded part. Clean and tidy, nicely decorated and fully equipped. No reception, no breakfast but professionally run. We stayed in the top floor suite and it had a nice terrace as well

Nice Hotel and good value. Size of rooms small, as usual in much of Europe, but spotless and the location on the edge of the old town is ideal. Check out the strip of cafes along the sea (not the harbour) mostly frequented by locals and not as touristy. Free bikes at a cafe there too! Fortino's best feature if... More

specific place. two levels, the upper bedroom. downstairs kitchen, bathroom and living room. a small balcony where you can enjoy a cup of coffee ranjo. I would not recommend breakfasts. should be next to the store to buy something to eat. downside of this place are the stairs leading to the upper rooms. a creak perfect location. close to the... Found it through another friend. A really good choice - especially for couples. Near to the west side of the old port (Neoria); enables the visitor to feel the old city and port. Good and friendly service. Prices reasonable. We have not forget our 3 day getaway. Suggest you book early and discuss on the available rooms. In order to... More

This is a lovely small independent hotel just behind the beautiful Old Port of Chania. We stayed 10 nights in one of the one bedroom apartments. Although it was small it was fully equipped and having the bed upstairs made it feel very cosy. The service was second to none from reception and the cleaner who visited every day. If... More

This hotel is excellent, with beautifully decorated rooms, very pleasant colors and interior design. Feels like home since you get from the day of arrival the main door key apart of the room key. The location is very convenient, especially if you have a car, since there is a public parking lot close by, around 50m. Very quiet neighborhood. Definitely... More

We stayed a week in Fortino. We took 2 rooms - one for 3 kids and one for us(patents). It was 2 floors apartment. Christina, the owner, was very friendly qns welcoming. She gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants. The hotel is located just next to the old harbor. The only disadvantage is that beach is far away.

The room we got was clean, confortable, with functional furniture and endowments. The position of the hotel is perfect, being very close on foot to the old town centre but silent and peaceful. The hotel manager Christina is very helpful and available for advice. Choose this hotel in full confidence and enjoy the nice town of Chania and its surrondings.
